The force of the lightning bolt sent me backwards a couple feet onto my back. I sat up just as the smoke cleared to find Cupa standing there, but she was different. Her long auburn hair changed electric blue and her body looked a little more, mature? She grew a couple inches and her eyes changed to red.

"Cupa?" I asked in a whisper. "Cupa? Is that you?" I asked a little louder.

"Kill the intruder! Don't let him near the princess!" One of the priests said. I stood up to face the guards charging towards me. I pulled an arrow from my quiver and loaded it on my bow readying for a fight.

"Bring it!" I shouted ducking under the first guards attack. This is going to be a close contact fight with a bow. Great. I fired an arrow into the head of a guard in front of me. I instantly rolled to my right, dodging under another attack and returned fire with an exploding arrow into his chest. "Oh yeah! These guys are creepers! They explode with other explosions!" I shouted excitedly. Before I could use this to my advantage however, a bolt of electricity struck me in the chest and slammed me into a wall.

"Don't even think about harming my soldiers!" Cupa, or the new Cupa, ordered.

I was surrounded by the guards almost immediately. "Why? I thought you were my friend?!" I yelled at her.

"Friend? I don't even know who you are stranger," she said through gritted teeth.

"Should we kill him, my lady?" One of the soldiers asked.

"No. We'll publicly execute him on the day I choose a mate to rule beside me," she ordered. "Throw him in the dungeon!"

Cupa's POV:

I can't remember anything. All I know is that I was called a princess and was given control over most of these troops. Who was that man? Why did he call my name like that? Did I know him? Yeah, right. He was a human and I was a creeper. Humans despise us and try to kill us any chance they get. Then why was he trying so desperately to get me to remember him? What is this feeling? When I looked at him and heard him call my name, I could feel my heart hurting.

Steve's POV

The guards beat the crap out of me before throwing me into a cell. I've had worse and the beating didn't really bother me. What hurt the most was Cupa not remembering me. "No matter what. When I see her again, I will make her remember me," I said to myself. "Until then I will train to strengthen myself."
