Remember

I've been stuck in here for a month and a half now, and the only thing that's kept me going is trying to get her to remember me and the training. Since they confiscated my weapons, I've only been able to train physically and mentally, along with hand to hand combat. A lot of the prisoners here have helped me with that. That's when the day came, that I was escorted back to the throne room.

"Get up. The princess is ready for you to be executed," one of the guards said that came to get me. They both gave me an evil grin before I got to my feet and walked out of my cell.

"Alright, but I will warn you. I will get her to remember me!" I said walking up the stairs out of the dungeon. I could hear the prisoners behind me cheering me on. These guards are going to die if they messed with me.

Cupa's POV:

It's almost been two months since I became a supercharged creeper. I don't exactly feel like a princess, but I've listened to what the priests tell me and I have to just nod and agree with them. I don't exactly feel like they are telling me the truth about anything. The only thing I due question myself on, is that man that we threw in the dungeon a month and a half ago. Surely after all this time he has given up on me and grown to hate me like all the other humans.

The priests keep pressuring me to choose a mate from a list they have made. I finally caved in and said I would choose one today, but that also means that man has to die.

When the guards brought him in I was astonished. He wasn't shriveled up and weakened. He stood stronger and more refined than when we put him in there. He has a couple scars on his body that were new. He must have fought a lot in the prison. Wait. Why is he smiling?!

"What's so funny human!? You're about to die!" I yelled at him infuriated.

"I finally got to see you again. This time though I will make you remember me," he said with a triumphant smile.

"Shut up!" One of the priests yelled hitting him in the face. "Do not disrespect the princess!"

"I've had worse," He said straightening up his stance. "Like during that time we all fought the Enderdragon," he continued as he looked up at me.

"Ludicrous! You have no ties with her!" The same priest yelled.

His face darkened when he turned to look at the man who yelled at him. "No? But I know how her parents died."

"Curse you!" He yelled before going to strike him again.

"Enough!" I yelled getting down from my throne and appearing besides the man. I pushed the priest out of the way and grabbed the front of his shirt. "How!? How did my parents die!?" I screamed in his face. Did this man do it?! Is that our connection?

"The priests you trust so much, are the ones who killed them," he said somberly.

I could feel my anger increase. "Who are you and how would you know that?!" I asked menacingly.

"Me? I'm Steve and the one who told me was an old man in the village. I guess you could say he was a grandfather to you and he wanted me to save you," he said nonchalantly.

I could feel the ground beneath me shift and my emotions going wild. "Lies!" I screamed sending a huge lightning bolt down on top of us. He just looked more determined. I took a step back. "Why?! Why are you so determined?! How are you still standing?!" I yelled.

"Because I love you silly," he said before he reached out and brought me into a warm embrace.

Just then I felt something and memories started to flood back into my mind. "I remember," I said in a quiet voice. I did. Everything we had gone through, how much pain and suffering we faced together. All the happy times too. I remembered it all.

"Don't listen to him princess. He's just trying to trick you," the priest said that had hit him.

"Tricked me?" I asked in a low voice. "You're the one who tricked me! Guards kill this priest!" I ordered to all the soldiers in the room. "Also. I chose him as my mate," I said as I kissed him for the first time in long while. "I'm sorry, but I remembered."

Steve's POV:

I woke up back in the town in the old man's house. This time though I felt different. I could hear some else's breathing other than mine. I looked down to see Cupa curled up next to me.

"Cupa!" I yelled grabbing her in my arms. "You're back!"

She woke up startled and sent out some electricity, but for some reason I didn't feel it. "Oh. Good morning," she said sleepily. "I chose you as my mate, so that means you have electric powers like me. So we're basically married," she continued grinning.

"I.... Have..... Electric powers..... HECK YEAH!!" I yelled causing the old man to rush into the room.

"That's what you're more surprised about?" She asked laughing. "I just said we are married.

"Alright you youngsters the new head priest wanted to talk to you," the old man said smiling. "He said he's got a surprise for you."

The priest gave us both these insane looking bows. They basically could shoot lightning.

"This is awesome!" I yelled excitedly. I noticed the mark on my chest that looked like a pattern of lightning bolts. I was told this symbolized our connection or something complicated like that. We stayed in the town for a couple more weeks to learn how to control our new found abilities, before moving on to continue our adventure.
