Andr's POV:

After they had finished telling me about Mike, all I could do was sit there in silence. I had no idea I had forgotten something so important. I still can't remember the memories that they had talked about, but at least I know why Mike seemed so sad.

"I guess that's why he looked so familiar and I felt so calm when I was around him. It's one thing if you have feelings for someone, but it's another if you remember why those feelings exist," I said after a while of silent walking. We had started to head back in the direction of our temporary houses.

"That is the best we can do. At least you know and aren't left in the dark about it," Steve said.

"He's our best friend. We don't want to see him like this," Josh added in. The rest of the way back was silent and I was lost in my thoughts.

Mike's POV:

By the time I could sense everyone heading my way, I had already built a small housing complex with seven rooms and a roofed in pin for Anthony. I added a couple of heated showers behind the complex. I prepared food and everything else that we would need. With my new abilities I was able to finish everything that I needed to do extremely quickly and was left to my own thoughts before they arrived in the clearing.

"Hey. You've been busy," Josh said to me as everyone filled on to take showers and eat.

"Yeah. It took my mind off of things for a short period of time," I answered back. With that everyone bathed, ate, and filed in to go to sleep in there respected rooms. I didn't make myself a room, because I wanted to be left alone and I was the person who stayed up on watch. I walked around the forest for a while until I found myself at the small pond. I knelt down by Willford's grave and cried. I didn't like when other people saw me cry, so I rarely do unless I'm alone. Well I thought I was alone. I felt someone's arms wrap around my neck from behind. Dang it. I let my senses slip and didn't feel her appear.

"I heard it all from them. You know. The things I forgot," she said quietly.

"You don't have to force yourself," I said regaining my composure. "If you're alive and safe, I'm happy." She brushed away a stray tear from my face after I turned around to face her.

"What is this mark under your eye?"She asked.

"You gave it to me. When you gave me your special pearl back in the last town we were in on our expedition for the mayor of New Napal. You said something along the lines like it was something close to marriage," I explained to her.

I could see her cheeks turn red and she said, "They didn't tell me about that!"

"Of course. Only us two knew about it," I said smiling. "You said it held every one of our precious memories of our time together." My eyes widened as I remembered this. I grabbed her shoulders and without waiting for her response kissed her. Bright lights surrounded us and a mark similar to mine appeared on her cheek. I was about to pull back, when I felt her arms go up to the back of my head and hold me in place.

When she pulled back, she had tears streaming down her face. "I gave you back the special pearl that you gave me. That means that I accepted your proposal and sealed the agreement be-tween us.

"I know. I remembered you. Thank you for getting me back," She said through tearful breaths. "I'm back home, Mike."

"Welcome back, Andr," I said pulling her into a hug. Standing next to the small pond that housed Willford's grave, I looked up at the stars and cried for the second time in a long time. "I missed you"
