Ashley's POV:

We set off to the HQ of the black market dealer's guild. Everyone that is a black market dealer is a part of this guild and are registered there. Before these two could even begin to train under me they have to be registered as my apprentices. I explained all this before we left and warned them about the dangers that are associated with this line of work.

"So? We already prepared ourselves for danger when we asked you to teach us," Mason said.

"Yeah! Don't worry about it. This will be fun!" Ruby exclaimed.

"Alright then! Stop here! Let's see what you're made of!" I yelled pulling out my sword. It's shorter than a normal sword and it's more geared towards my line of work.

"Right!" They both said before drawing their swords. They both simultaneously charged me. Mason swung straight down at my head, which I blocked easily. Ruby took this chance to take a shot at my open side. I jumped up, making sure to keep his sword locked in place, and landed on her sword digging it into the ground. When my feet touched the ground, Mason spun knocking his sword out of the lock and slashed at my arm. I leaned back to dodge, but Ruby let go of her sword and brought a small knife up to stab me. I back flipped over her and knocked the knife from her hands.

"Rule one! Don't let your enemy disarm you!" I said after pinning her to the ground. Mason lunged at me forcing me off of her. "Rule number two! If you're fighting with a partner always have their backs!" I rushed in this time.

Thirty minutes later we were sitting on the ground panting from exhaustion. "You guys are pretty good. Where did you learn to fight like that?" I asked in-between breaths.

"Mike trained us for a couple weeks," Mason said from his position laying on the ground.

"Yeah. Before we went into the End," Ruby said from next to me.

"Well that makes things easier. Alright, let's get moving to HQ," I said standing up. "I will teach you guys how to deal trades, fight under bad circumstances, and to be able to escape without a sound."

When I registered both of them in the guild, I got some weird looks from the other members.

"You don't visit the guild in years and now when you do show up, you bring two kids?" One of the members asked.

"Yeah, but they've fought in the End against the Enderdragon. They're good," I said as we left after picking up a mission bounty. "Alright guys, you have to finish five missions with me to be eligible for membership."

Two months later:

I'm impressed with these kids. They've completed the required missions and already have a network of money and weapon deals spanning through many cities. After just a few months, they have already gotten on par with most of the other members. They even have an army of mercenaries under their control. In the upcoming battle this just might turn the tides.
