Attack of the Herobrine

Spider's Din: Part 3

I looked over the edge of the hole to see that it went down at least a hundred feet. The fire had cleared out all the spider's webs all the way down, except for a thin layer at the exit of the hole. It appeared different though. Was it fire proof?

"Oh well," I said blandly as I jumped into the hole. I fell a couple of seconds before I started to spin with my swords in front of me. I hit the layer of webs and sliced through them and spun to where I landed on my feet with a small ring of dust floating at my feet. The room was already lit with glow stone and had a weird feeling to it. Like it was hot and cold at the same time. There was two holes in the sides of this cavern. The cavern itself was slightly bigger than the one above me.

All of a sudden two ground shaking spider roars was heard. Followed by the sound of two large things rushing out of the holes of the walls. On one side a giant flaming spider appeared out of the hole. On the other side a giant ice spider came out.

"Spider kings. Right," I said readying myself. I didn't wait long for their attacks, because the flaming spider charged me first while the ice spider took to the ceiling. I knew better now than to jump over the flaming spider to dodge it. I slid under it to attack its underside, but it jumped over me. The ice spider lunged from the ceiling at my blind spot. I turned and blocked its fangs head on with my swords making a small crater where I was standing. I prepared for a hard push from the spider, but it stepped back causing me to stumble. The flaming spider jumped over the top of the ice spider to slam into me, but I light-step rolled to the side in time to dodge it.

I stopped my roll and immediately sent an energy slash backwards at the spider, striking it in the back. The force of the slash knocked it back in time for me to jump up onto the ice spiders back and sink my sword into its back. It flung me off and caused me to slam into a wall. As the ice spider was shaking its head in rage, the flaming spider had recovered and was charging at me. I ducked under his charge and stuck my sword into the soft part of his underbelly. His head slammed into the wall and stunned him long enough for me to jump up to the ceiling.

The ice spider had stopped shaking his head long enough for me to rocket off the ceiling and slam my fist into the sword. I made sure to charge it with energy the second my hand touched the sword. I shattered it inside of the ice spider. As the shards of supper charged sword shot out inside of it, the fire aspect kicked in and set it ablaze. Its body exploded and it fell to the ground. The flaming spider had recovered and was charging at me with its fangs aimed for my back. I ducked, spun on my heels, and slammed an upper-cut into the sword lodged in his underside. I did the same thing to it that I did to the ice spider except, the fire aspect had no effect.

Standing up in-between the two dead spiders I was about to go check if the swords were in the two spider kings chambers, when both of them clamped there fangs into my arms. I was about to pulse out energy with everything I had, when a voice stopped me.

"Do not be afraid. You have come for the swords. We know. We will give you the swords," the voice said.

"Who are you?" I asked looking around.

"We are the two spider kings." I looked down at the two spider kings clamped onto my arms. I saw them slowly starting to disintegrate. "We are the swords themselves and we are transferring our powers into you," the voice explained.

They were right. I could see marks appearing on my arms from where they had their fangs inserted, along with a power flowing into them and mixing with my own. "Why?"

"Because you are worthy. We have been waiting for someone to come face us and succeed. You need to face Herobrine. We are the key to being able to fight him on equal grounds," the voice explained before it started to fade away. "We leave the rest to you." With that the two spider kings were gone. The marks they left were shaped like a flaming blaze on my right arm and a freezing blizzard on my left arm.

"Time to get back to the others," I said looking up back the way I came. "Wait for me Andr. I'm coming to save you."
