Explosions

"Weren't these walls supposed to be explosion proof?" I asked looking at Josh.

"Yes! Up to about a ton of TNT!" He said looking out the window. "There's no way a simple creeper blew up the walls."

"Well, all four walls have a giant hole in them. So, I guess something did," Cupa said sounding annoyed.

"That's no ordinary creeper," Steve said with wide eyes looking out of the window. "It's a mutant!" He warned reading his bow.

"Archers! Get up on the roof and give covering fire!" I ordered looking out the windows at the advancing horde of zombies, titans, and the four mutant creepers. They had four legs and a body like that of a spiders. The one nearest to the guest houses started firing explosives at them. "Ashley! Use Anthony to defend the side of the house by the crops! Josh and Kennadi! Take the side by the stables! Mason and Ruby! You got the guest houses. Andr and I will take the front of the house!" I yelled before we each rushed to our positions.

My training was focused on the power I gained from being a brine and was also focused on my attacks and speed. I light-stepped. This is an extremely fast dash forward or to the sides. I planted my feet, focused energy into my swords, and sent out an energy slash into the oncoming mobs. Right after the slash traveled into the group of enemies, Andr teleported and started decapitating any of the mobs that were left standing. A titan tried to bring its hands down to smash Andr, but I was there with an energy slash straight down its body, cutting it in half.

I could hear the sound of lighting striking the enemies on the other sides of the house, along with the roar of Anthony. "Problem Mike! We've got a lot of titans coming in on your side!" Steve yelled down from the roof.

"Got it!" I answered back before I light-stepped forward to stop their advance. What was that?! I just got an extremely bad feeling.

"I got that stray zombie!" Andr yelled as she prepared to teleport towards it.

"Wait!" I yelled reaching out to grab her, but she was already gone. I watched her appear besides the zombie and kill it. Then he was there. She spun around right as he punched her in the stomach knocking her out. He then picked her up on his shoulder and turned and smiled at me. "You're not going anywhere!" I yelled shooting forward as fast as I could, but only to be blocked by the titans that had previously come through the wall.

"Out of my way!" I yelled as I brought my swords down into the ground and sent out a giant shockwave killing most of them.

"Mike!" Josh yelled grabbing the back of my shirt and pulled me back behind the now raising wall of dispensers. "We are activating the traps!"

Steve came down the ladder with the other archers and said, "The mutant creepers are about to explode. We need to get in the bunker."

"But he took Andr!" I screamed.

"We know! We will get her back! But for now we need to get to safety!" Josh yelled back as he pulled me into the bunker. A few seconds later what sounded like a nuclear missile went off above us. Then there was silence.
