After they talked, Maureen and Amanda approached Astrid
and Mackenzie.
"Kenzie, Astrid okay lang ba kayo?" Maureen asked.
"okay naman po, maayos po kami" Mackenzie answered which surprised Maureen.
"we're fine tita Maureen" Astrid answered smiling.
"anong nangyari sa inyong dalawa? Nawala lang kami saglit ni Maureen eh nag Tagalog na si Kenzie! Ito namang si Astrid biglang nag English!" Amanda asked, a little surprised.
Even though Maureen and Amanda could see their children, they were still too far away to hear what they were talking about.
"tita Amanda, hinamon po kasi ako ni Astrid na mag Tagalog daw po ako" Mackenzie smoothly answered.
"anak? Hindi ko alam na ganan ka pala kagaling mag Tagalog!" Maureen said surprisingly earning a giggle from Mackenzie.
"yeah me too tita Maureen, i was surprised at first too" Astrid said.
"eh ikaw Astrid Queen Arceta, bakit naman at bigla kang nag English dyan?" Amanda asked her daughter Astrid.
"eh Mommy, Mackenzie also challenged me to speak English" Astrid answered.
"This can be also my practice, once i join in a Pageant" Astrid added.

Maureen and Amanda look at each other, communicating through their eyes.
"Kenzie anak, about sa pag-uwi mo ng Pilipinas" Maureen started talking.
"Mom. I said ayoko! Or for now ayoko pa!" Mackenzie answered rather loudly.
"I'm still too young to enter the business world! I just turned 7 this day!" Mackenzie added.
"uh Maureen, alam ko sabi ko kanina tutulungan kita, but, actually tama naman si Mackenzie masyado pa syang bata para pumasok sa mundo ng mga negosyante" Amanda said.
"alam naman namin ni Lai yon, Amanda, and Kenzie. Gusto lang namin na sa Pilipinas ka para makasama ka namin" Maureen explained.
"kung tutuusin nga ay dapat kami magselos sa tita mo dahil mas close kayo, dito kapa nakatira sa bahay nya" Maureen added.
"hindi mo ba kami namimiss ng Dad mo, Kenzie?" Maureen asked her daughter.
"at kapag umuwi ka naman ng Pilipinas ay kasama mo naman si Skylar, then it-transfer namin kayo sa school ni Astrid" Maureen said trying to convice her daughter.
"friends na naman kayo ni Astrid diba?" Maureen asked.
Mackenzie just looked at Astrid who's suddenly become quiet.
Mackenzie let out a sigh. "okay. I'll go back to Philippines" Mackenzie said.
"t-talaga?!" Maureen asked Mackenzie happily.
"yeah, but not now of course, lets make a promise, once i turn 16 and Skylar turn 15, we'll go back to Philippines, together." Mackenzie seriously said, as if she's the Mother then Maureen is her Daughter.
Maureen looked at Amanda who's beside her, and to her husband who's quitely listening at the door. Both Amanda and Nikolai nodded to Maureen as sign of agreement.
Maureen let out a big sigh. "sure, Kenzie" Maureen said smiling.
"thats a promise" -Maureen.
"yes, pinky promise" Mackenzie answered smiling.
"I hope bitterness will not replace the happiness on your lips." -???
Promises are meant to be Broken.
