The Arceta family, together with Nikolai Lim and his daughter Mackenzie Lim is having a dinner right now....
The same casual talk about businesses is their topic at the dining table. Since its about business, Mackenzie and Astrid were both silent. But that's just not the reason for it, its also about what happend to them erlier.
"speaking of, how's U.S naman for you Ahren?" Nikolai asked.
"its great tito. There's a lot of opportunities there" Ahren answered smiling.
"do you have any plans on going back there?" Nikolai asked back.
"I dont know pa tito, but for now hindi muna siguro" Ahren answered.
"huwag muna nga. Maybe this days i'll let you handle kahit one of our businesses muna" Gabriel replied.
"really Dad? Damn, im excited!" Ahren happily said.
"Lai, ano naman balak nyo sa bussiness nyo? Kay Mackenzie ba?" Gabriel asked Nikolai.
"ofcourse kay Mackenzie, kanino pa ba?" Nikolai answered.
"but Mackenzie's still young. Maybe when she's 20 above or when she finished College. I'll let her handle our business in New York since she dont want here sa Philippines" Nikolai added.
"aalis ka nanaman? Huwag na please" Astrid said to her mind.
"why sa New York pa? Pwede naman'g dito nalang sa Pilipinas. You and Ahren can work here, together" Gabriel said to Mackenzie.
Astrid slightly choked her foods because of what his father said. She then jokingly thought to her self to become a business woman nalang.
"just like kuya Ahren said po, there's a lot of opportunities abroad, and I more likely to see my self who's based on New York" Mackenzie explained.
"pero magbabago pa rin naman yang desisyon mo or gusto mo sa buhay as you get older. Just do what makes your heart happy" Amanda said.
Mackenzie nodded and smiled.

Mackenzie's pov:
Im sitting here sa sofa sa living room nila Astrid. Katabi ko sya ngayon.
Akward silence enveloped us. I badly wanna talk to her. I wanna kiss her forehead again, hehe.
Enough na talaga Kenzie- stop yourself.
"Mackenzie, Astrid" Dad called us.
"yes Dad/tito?" we both answered.
"when's your volleyball match nga ulit?" Dad asked.
"umm...November 24 po, sa MOA Arena" I answered.
"mhm I see. I intend to celebrate your match and my birthday at the same time, since my birthday is just a day after your match." said Dad.
"thats great Dad. Is it okay if I invite my other teamates and our friends?"
"yeah yeah, sure" Dad shortly replied.
