At Cafeteria.....
Mackenzie's pov:
We were going to go to Skylar's building, we were on our way when I recieved a text from Skylar that she was already with Jillian and Gail at the Canteen.
When we got to the Canteen, we saw Jillian, Gail, and Skylar waiting for us at the table.
Astrid and I sat together, while Skylar is sitting beside Gail.
"oh ayan sige magtabi-tabi kayo, 5th wheel nanaman ako" Jillian said.
"ayan naman si Calliope oh, tabi kayo" I said teasing Calliope.
"yiee!" Gail teased.
"oy ate Kenzie kumukulit kana ah!" Skylar said.
"makulit naman talaga yan dati pa!" Calliope said while laughing.
"depends on who I am with" I said.
"wait magkakilala kayo ni Calli?" Jillian asked.
"oo mag-jowa yan eh!" Skylar said.
"stupid! Hindi nga!" I angrily refused.
"ehh, deny pa! Lagi ngang naka-update sa isa't isa!" Skylar teasingly said.
"kung alam mo lang." I seriously said then look at Calliope.
"sus, masyadong bata kapa talaga" Calliope said to Skylar.
"uy tama na, nagseselos na si Astrid" Gail suddenly said that made us look at Astrid.
Gail and Calliope just laughed.
"Astrid ka pala Kenz ah" Calliope said teasing me.
"bakit naman ako magseselos? Baka si Jill" Astrid said.
"bakit din naman ako magseselos?" Jillian asked.
Kaya nga naman Astrid, bakit?
"mhm Jill, balita ko naghahanap daw kayo ng new member sa Volleyball team nyo ah" Calliope changed the topic.
"um oo, bakit sasali ka?" Jill asked Calliope.
"ah hindi, si Mackenzie sana" Calliope answered making me look at her.
"huh? N-no, wala naman ako sinasabi ah" I said.
"sali ka na ate Kenz" Skylar said.
"nagv-volleyball ka Kenzie?" Jillian asked me.
"yeah, pero dati lang yon, i never had a chance to play again" I replied.
"then ito na yung chance mo" Calliope said.
"payag kana Kenzie please! Kailangan na talaga namin ng new libero para sa game na sinalihan ng team ko" Jillian begged me.
"ano ba nangyari sa dati nyong libero?" I asked.
"nag-transfer ng school" Jillian shortly replied.
"payag kana Kenzie please! Pag hindi, ako yung pipilitin ni Jho na sumali" Astrid said to me.
"and besides, ikaw yung may background sa paglalaro ng volleyball sating dalwa" Astrid added.
"sigh, fine" I said.
"pero I'm not that good being libero ha, I'm more on setting kasi" I added.
"okay lang, okay na rin yon para may ka-change position si Venice. So okay ka na, payag ka na?" Jillian asked and I nodded.
"ieee! Thank you Kenzie!" Jill thanked me.
She then hold my hand, sigh, Boss might get mad at me again.
I looked at Boss, I was scared when she gave me a bad look.
"y-you're welcome" I nervously said to Jillian.
"wait lang, bakit kapag si ate Astrid yung nagsasabi pumapayag agad si ate Kenzie" Skylar said.
"ano bang pinagsasabi mo Sky?" I asked Skylar annoyed.
"oy ate Astrid, alam mo ba kaya pumayag yan na bumalik dito sa Pilipinas kasi dahil sayo?" Sky said to Astrid.
"oo alam ko, crush ako nan eh" Astrid proudly said.
"ang kapal mo Astrid!" I said, she just laughed.
"kung totoo ngang crush kita, pasalamat ka nalang, baka Mackenzie Lim toh" I proudly said.
"ikaw pasalamat, kasi kilala ka ng nag-iisang Astrid Queen Arceta" she proudly replied.
We're really proud partners of each other. Thats really it is.
"bakit naman?" I seriously asked.
"sus kabaklaan mo Mackenzie Lim!" Calliope said so loud.
"bakit ikaw hindi ba? Baka gusto mo sabihin ko ngayon kung sino nagugustuhan mo?" I rebate.
"Astrid paki palo nga yung bibig ng katabi mong yan" Calliope said.
It made me shocked when Astrid just held my hand that was on the table.
"sabi ko paluin yung bibig, hindi hawakan yung kamay" Calliope said.
They all laughed except me.
"natulala ka na ata at di na makapag-salita, Kenzie" Gail said teasing me.
"tumigil na nga kayo! Bilisan nyo nalang kumain, baka ma-late pa tayo sa next period natin" I said.
