After everything Izuku didn't want to leave, he didn't want to get up and face the outside world just yet. He wanted to just sleep next to Kirishima for the next millenia but knew it was impossible. Thinking about his people, and the state they all were in motivated him to climb put of bed and dress. Eijirou watched him with a tender look in his eyes.
The redhead grumbled as he got himself up and snatched his pants from the floor. He hated that they had to leave again. Right when things seemed right and perfect they had to tromp threw the woods in search for something he wasn't sure existed. Izuku may believe that the scaly creatures exist but the Alpha had his doubts.
The two got dressed in silence, neither wanting to point out the obvious. Instead they pulled on their clothes and boots before linking hands. They left hand in hand as Dabi nonchalantly followed behind them.
Izuku lead them down to the throne room, where he knew the King was and hopefully Endevor. Kirishima still needed to apologize for his behavior even if he didn't want too. The Omega knocked on the large door before hauling it open. Met with the same sunny smile of King Toshinori the pair smiled back before noticing Enji's presence in the room. Kirishima bit his tongue to avoid any comebacks he had stored in his brain.
The King rose to his feet with his cape swaying behind him. He chuckled warmly as he greeted the pair with open arms. Endeavor just scoffed as he looked at anything besides them.
"Leaving so soon my friends?" He thundered as Izuku nodded his head. His eyes twinkled looking at the blond King, his heart soaring at the fact he actually cared.
"Yes, Kirishima just had something to say to Endeavor before we left," Izuku bowed and Kirishima eyed the second in command with a fury he couldn't quite place. Endeavor tilted his head curiously, his flaming beard simmered only slightly. Eijirou stiffened as he clenched his jaw. He bowed to Endeavor, his face never leaving the floor as he stayed in his bow.
"I apologize for my behavior yesterday. It wasn't very manly of me to act in such a way and I hope you can forgive me for snapping on you," the Alpha stated. The King smiled as he glanced toward Enji, his feelings hidden by a angered expression. But the man stepped forward, his fists clenched at his sides as he approached the pair. Eijirou stayed where he was, only slightly glancing up to meet the tall Alpha's gaze.
"Ensure it never happens again," he said simply before shoulder checking the redhead, nearly knocking him over. Enji left without another word while Dabi frowned at the display. Once the door clicked shut Kirishima raised his head but his gaze was still stuck to the floor.
"Well, with that over," the King clapped his hands together while Izuku locked eyes with him.
"Your horses are saddled, and I ensured that you have supplies packed. Everything is ready when you are," he stated with a smile. Izuku and Kirishima bowed and thanked the King before making their exit. Dabi followed coolly behind, his armor making clinking sounds as he walked but the couple ignored it. Izuku lead the way to the outside and to the stables where, indeed, their horses stood carrying large packs on their backs. Kirishima kissed the greenette's cheek before mounting his horse with as much grace as a giant tripping on stone. The Omega giggled before waving at Dabi and hauling up his own steed.
The guard watched them leave, waving slightly at the couple as Izuku stared straight ahead. He felt excitement flow threw himself as the horse's hooves clicked against the ground. They were out in the world again, the fresh air and different scents surrounded them. Kirishima felt his lungs fill with oxygen as he huffed with delight. His thoughts wondered back to that morning and he couldn't help but grin to himself.
"Izuku!" Kirishima called ahead of him and the greenette looked back. His emerald pools were filled with curiosity as he stared at the redhead.
"I love you!" The Alpha smiled and the Omega let out a little giggle that made his heart flutter.
