Snapping back to his current situation Izuku flipped himself stomach-side down, noting the ground coming closer and closer. His eyes bulged wide as he kept falling. The air gushed past his face in waves, his sword still in hand he glanced toward the cliff.

Maybe?

Would it work, he didn't know but something felt almost peaceful. He glanced back at the ground - he probably still had a moment until he was at the ground. He twisted his body against the rushing air, the pressure made it difficult but he managed to face the cliff, his sword swung up in its sheath. His eyes glanced toward the ground and noticed a wooden roof, it was small but noticeable.

Without much thought, the Omega pulled out his sword and jabbed it into the soil. The blade pierced the ground and made a line threw it as the prince fell, but slowly the sword made it so Izuku's body slowed too. Then, without warning the sword jerked, breaking the blade and the Omega was thrown away from the cliff.

Back first Izuku landed harshly on a piece of wood. It stung bad and he didn't understand why until he looked over to find he didn't land on a log, or even a mushroom patch - as he expected. What he landed on looked like a birdhouse but much bigger. Parts of it were sticking out of the ground with what once was a wood roof, but after the fall the Prince noticed pieces that caved in because of his weight.

"Oh no," he moaned with burning pain in his lower back. He couldn't bear it anymore and finally pushed off the ground, glancing up hoping to not see the monsters after him but found nothing. He took a breath, greedily taking in air.

"Where...?" Izuku noticed a gap between the ledge and the cliff wall. Had he fallen into a gorge? He hadn't seen another cliff in front of him when he jumped before, he was sure he was going to fall to his death. By sheer luck - or stupidity - the greenette had survived. He looked down over the ledge and found a steep drop. The prince shivered, knowing that if he hadn't fallen onto the ledge he would surely be dead.

"I'm alive," he reminded himself before brushing down his pants and shirt. The Omega whimpered as he brushed his side, he speculated that one of his ribs had broken but he couldn't be sure. Denki would know. The greenette looked back at the damage he caused and felt horrible when he saw just how badly he had smashed the little wooden roof.

"I wouldn't even begin to know how to fix this," Izuku murmured and saw a tunnel leading onwards past the birdhouse. The dark feather-tall tunnel would never be able to fit Izuku inside, and the Omega wondered what on earth could be so small to create an opening that big. He decided not to think too hard about it as he picked up the broken wood and stacked it into a pile. Inside the birdhouse were tiny objects, viles of a crimson-colored liquid, small jars with some kind of offering inside them, crackers made recently, and the smallest piece of cake Izuku had ever seen. His guilt grew when he didn't see anyone inside, did he kill them? He hoped not as he organized the mess. It was the only thing he could think of doing, he couldn't leave and with those monsters overhead he wasn't too inclined to climb back up so he cleaned up and began to build a new roof for the tiny little birdhouse.

"I wonder who lives here, they must be so small," the Prince realized but didn't dwell on the subject. Then he heard a faint sound, it was shrill but quiet and Izuku had to strain his ears to even hear it. The greenette dropped the piece of wood in his hand and darted toward the tunnel, quickly getting on his hands and knees and peeking inside. It was dark but the Prince could scent fear on his tongue, the aura took hold of his body, and was worried that something bad was going to happen. Then, as if out of thin air, a tiny body produced in the tunnels.

Izuku couldn't see very well, but he knew that it was there. It looked human! Its clothing was shaggy and dirty, its little hands waved around in the dark as if it was defending against something. Their little body was otherwise paralyzed, the little guy seemed like he couldn't move.
