Thunderous footsteps made a hault in movements. Izuku was too scared to open his eyes as they were sealed shut. He could feel the dragons breath, as if it was the wind whiping threw his hair. Kirishima pulled the greenette close to him, as his eyes scanned over the creatures feature.
Up close you could see the curves in its face, it's red eyes were harsh but there was a hint of curiosity underneath. It's head descended down so its face was eye level with the Alpha. Smoke rose from the dragon's nostrils as it's jaws opened inviting Kirishima to peer inside. It's mouth was pink with its tongue stuck out like a snake with its two pieces wiggling. The redhead was frozen as he noticed the orange light gleaming down its throat, his heart screaming to find an escape.
When Izuku finally opened his pretty eyes they widened when they spotted the blood that leaked from its face. The Omega shivered at the thought of what powerful being could do that to a dragon.
"Hello," Izuku whined with a slight wave and the dragon tilted it's head. A hiss escaping it's mouth as it stared down at the pair. Kirishima bit his lip with his heart racing as the greenette tilted his head back. The dragon closed its mouth in return making Izuku smile.
"You are quite terrifying, but really beautiful," Izuku complemented and the dragon sniffed at the greenette's head. His hair rose as the dragon exhaled his scent and fluffed out when it was done. Izuku giggled at the little gesture making Kirishima calm, just slightly.
"You're hurt," Kirishima pointed at the dragons face which made it growl lowly. Almost as if was offended the dragon let out a gut wrenching rumble and the redhead smiled. Even though he wasn't confident the redhead knew the dragon hadn't eaten them yet, so it was a good sign.
"Oh Kirishima hush, but we should head back. I'm kinda hungry after the sprint of our lives," Izuku rubbed his belly and the Alpha just laughed at the Omega's randomness. The Prince beckoned the dragon closer as he turned and climbed under the tree's gap. Kiri followed with the dragon hesitating for only a moment before propelling himself and jumping over the large log. Izuku inhaled a terrified breath but Kirishima just touched his shoulder in support. The dragon turned and waited for them to catch up as they marched back inside their camp. The food was practically boiling when they finally pulled it out of the fire. Izuku took off the lid and stirred it to cool it down before taking a experimental sip.
"Ouch," Izuku yelped when the steaming soup touched his tongue. The Alpha just laughed as he sat on the ground. Izuku pouted but sat next to Kiri as the dragon settled beside the fire.
"We weren't expecting to meet you out here, I'm sorry we didn't prepare enough for you," Izuku apologized, as if the dragon understood the beast let out a smoke ring from its nose. Kirishima huffed before getting to his feet and retrieved a cloth from his satchel. He poured some of the extra water onto it before ringing it out. The dragon let out a chirp at the sight and the Alpha smiled.
"I bet whatever did that to you looks far worst," the Alpha cooed and the dragon flapped its wing in reply. The gush of air hit his face and Izuku couldn't help but laugh. The dragon extended its neck so it's wound was exposed for Kirishima to clean. The Alpha celebrated in his head as the cloth touch the scaly skin of the creature and soaked up the blood. The dragon winced slightly, and the Alpha ignored it as he wiped away the oozing gore from its face.
Eijirou quickly realized that it wasn't just a normal wound, they were scratch marks. And whatever had done it had the intent to kill because the wounds traveled from its face to its neck where multiple punctures were made. The wounds were deep and were gushing blood horribly. Though the Alpha did what he could the blood just wouldn't stop.
"I would say these need stitches but I don't think we'd have a needle big enough," Kirishima whispered but the dragons ears flapped, acknowledging his words before lifting its head. Izuku then stood before pacing over to the dragon. His eyes were full of wonder as he reached out his hand towards its neck. The dragon snapped its jaws, making Izuku retreat slightly but he progressed. He placed his fingers lightly on the dragons scales and ran his hand over them.
