『Chapter Twenty-Seven』
『phantoms of Mystic Falls』⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
Between everything with Rebekah and betraying everyone by telling her what they planned, come morning, and Bodie felt as if he were losing his mind, there were moments where he caught sight of his sister, or his younger brother, or even his parents. He didn't know what was going on, he was going to talk about it to either Henry or Will, to see if either of them knew what was going on but at the same time he knew that there was a chance that he was going mad, that there was a chance that neither of them would believe that he's seeing the ghosts of his dead family.
He tried to shake it off just as a whole, knowing that there was a chance that it was just his brain playing tricks on him as a whole. He knew that there was a chance that all of this meant nothing, that there was nothing that he needed to worry about, but he couldn't be too sure knowing that the voice in his mind was telling him otherwise. If there was a chance that these were the ghosts of his actual family, he wanted to be sure.
Thanks to Henry, Bodie was aware that there was this special event that was happening in the town square, he wasn't sure what it was about, but there was a small part of him which knew that he wanted to at least talk to Bonnie given that apparently Matt's sister tried to kill Elena and Bonnie done something to prevent it. He wasn't sure but he knew that he wanted to see if Bonnie might have done something else in order for others to see the dead.
Henry had tried to talk to Bodie given that it was quite clear as to the fact that there was something that was bothering him, but Bodie brushed him off. Not that he didn't appreciate Henry caring for him, but because of the fact that there was still a part of him which did worry about what Henry would say to him about all of it. Bodie didn't even want to believe that there was a chance that he was seeing his family again, but he didn't want to stop seeing them if he were seeing them. It had been far too long, and he longed to talk to them.
Henry had gone ahead with going to the town saying that he was going to pick up Elliot and his brother—Leo—for the event. Bodie hadn't realised just how close the three had gotten though, Bodie could have sworn that he heard Henry say to him that Leo seemed overly interested in him as a whole which Bodie wasn't too sure on what to do with that information, so he chose to pretend that he didn't hear it.
Bodie had decided to take a small walk towards the town, knowing that he needed time to think. Though, he found that all that he was doing was thinking about everything even if he didn't want to think about the things that were happening to him. He didn't want to think about the fact that there was a chance that he was seeing his family once more, he didn't want to think about where Klaus was in the world, he didn't want to think about what Rebekah could be up to. He just wished that he didn't have to over think about anything and everything, no matter how major or minor they were.
