『Chapter Forty-Six』
『the brotherhood of the five』⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
Bodie knew that he wasn't going crazy, he'd had a feeling that it was the exact group that he thought it to be. Of course, Bodie knew that if he talked to any of the Mikaelson's about it, but he knew that Klaus wouldn't want to share any bit of information with him and would rather have him suffer in silence. He somewhat wondered whether or not the best thing that he could do would be to talk to Klaus about it, but Klaus would rather dissect Bodie than help him out at all.
If this was truly the Brotherhood of The Five, then it was something that he needed to worry about. However, he needed to be careful, if it was truly The Five, then vampires were at risk as a collective and if he were to go after any one of The Five, then he'd screw himself over more than anything else. The last thing that he wanted to do was kill one of them and then have a collection of years that ruin his life for a short while.
It was Will that helped Bodie go through his journals given that Will knew about this thing that Bodie was worried about. He wondered whether or not his assumption about what it could be was correct, a part of him wanted to talk to Klaus, wondering if there was a chance that he'd figured it out. Though, no matter how much Bodie wanted to talk to him, he knew that there was a chance that he'd rather not talk to him.
However, Bodie found himself looking through his journals, looking for anything else that might be of use. The last thing that Bodie wanted to do was to be wrong about any of this, he wanted to make sure that he was right, he needed to be right before he decided to jump into anything. He knew that it wasn't something that he wanted to get ahead of himself with. If this was truly the Brotherhood of The Five, then Bodie knew that he was fucked if this hunter got a hand on a white oak stake and decides to kill an Original.
Bodie managed to convince Henry to hang around with Damon and Stefan to see if there was a chance that anything was mentioned with either of them. Henry seemed as if it wasn't something that he didn't want to do, but luckily, Henry gave in, which left Will to help him do what he felt was needed. Of course, Will didn't like the fact that he was made to read Bodie's journals, and that Henry was taking over his place of being Damon's friend, but that was something hat Bodie didn't really care much about as a whole.
After a while, Will decided that the best thing for him was to leave Bodie to continue his research into something that Will called 'unnecessary.' Bodie wanted to argue against it being unnecessary given the fact he felt as if he was right about this, but just wanted to make sure that he was truly correct about it. He knew that he'd written some things down about his time in Italy, given that he remembered that he'd spent a lot of his time with the Mikaelson's after his entire situation with Cataline and her brother.
He'd combed through everything that he'd written down throughout the course of his life, though, when he'd gotten to the journal that was written during the 12th century, he'd realised that there was quite a lot of pages that had been ripped out. Though, when he looked on one page, the one thing that stood out was the line: 'Klaus has progressively gotten worse after the death of the Brotherhood.' He'd read that over and over again, feeling as if there was something that he was missing, though, he couldn't be sure.
