❝Klaus Mikaelson was the monster one would tell their children, he's the villain in everyone's stories, but for me he was the prince who saved me from myself and I think I saved the last bit of hope within him.❞
Bodie Erikson wasn't human, but...

Between Stefan deciding to steal Klaus' siblings from him to now, Bodie would say that he wasn't exactly pleased with anything going on in life. As much as he knew that there was a chance that he lost his place by the friends that he kinda made—as much as he knew that they were more Henry's friends more than anything—and he knew that no matter what he wouldn't be able to go back into them. And it wasn't like he was fully with Klaus either, no matter how much he wanted to let old feelings come back, Bodie knew better, he knew that he needed to be close to Klaus to make sure that Klaus doesn't lose himself too much.
He knew that him being around Klaus was the worst thing for him, but all of this was much bigger than him. Bodie knew that he was playing himself a lot, given that he knows what he's like and how much he's losing just by playing this game, but he'd rather do this than do nothing. That and the fact that he really wasn't sure on how to feel about the group that Henry likes, they all seem to rub Bodie the wrong way, though he wasn't sure if it was because they were all young and annoying or the fact that he was an old bastard whose annoyed by anything.
Either way, he knew that he fucked himself over either way. He knew that there was no turning back from what he done, and he now knew that there was a chance that when Klaus finds out the truth, he—Bodie—will be more fucked than anything. He knew that he was overthinking all of this, but how could he not? He was comfortable, he was living comfortably, but he supposed that his own personal fear of Mikael and knowing what Mikael would do if he had the chance to kill Klaus. And as much as he knows that Klaus can defend himself—he's seen it more than once—there will always be that fear of losing Klaus in a way that he wouldn't return from.
Though, even thinking that, he knows that the second that he decides to tell the Mikaelson's about what he done, then he will lose Klaus and probably wouldn't be able to return from it no matter how much he wants to. Bodie knew that either way, he was hurting the people that he loves more than anything, and there was nothing that he could do about it as a whole. And he knew that it was something that he would have to live with.
Bodie would say that he needed to enjoy his time with Klaus while it lasted, but at the same time he was somewhat hating everything in his life at the moment to even enjoy anything. Klaus had been raging for however long about Stefan for a period before deciding to do some weird shit with his hybrids that Bodie wasn't really paying much attention to. He knew that he should be paying attention to what Klaus is doing if he wanted to make sure that Klaus doesn't lose himself too much, but he found that it was rather difficult and the fact that he knew that Klaus wouldn't trust him enough to share plans or anything with him.
"Bodie." Klaus harshly said, drawing Bodie out of his own thoughts. "Are you listening?"
Bodie looked up from where he was. He was half laying on the floor with his legs up on the sofa and was previously looking at the ceiling of the home that Klaus got specifically for himself and the rest of his family. Now, Bodie was using the table for support as his legs slowly fell from the sofa, his attention back on Klaus. He pressed his lips together. "You lost me the minute that you started ranting about how you'll kill Stefan when you get your hands on him." He paused for a moment. "I have a feeling that I lost focus a little earlier because that's not what you said." He shrugged, he knew that he should be focusing, but at the same time, he knew that it was rather hard.
