After leaving Rebekah behind and after having time to fully think about everything that's about to happen, like knowing that there was a chance that Mikael was on his way or was being woken up, knowing that Rebekah was questioning everything that he's hiding from her and the rest of her family, processing everything that his parents said to him when he saw them, and everything else that was going on. Henry had been annoyed at him when he walked through the front door as human as anything, though didn't fully question anything as if he knew something that he didn't.

Bodie asked Henry where Leo and Elliot lived, saying that it was important that he knew—of course, Henry knew what he meant by 'important'—and told him their address, he'd also mentioned the fact that the grandparents lived with the two boys and their parents which would make everything a lot easier for him.

When they first came back to America after the entire incident with Klaus in England, Bodie sought out a family that trusted him and knew that he would never do something to harm the witches. It was a family of which he knew for practicing obscure magic, magic of which he hadn't heard of whether they're new or something even older than himself. It was a family which he could trust with objects that could kill him, knowing that it was the highest offer of trust that he could give to someone.

He knew that there was a chance that this family of witches could have used the stake against him, and he trusted that they wouldn't—and they didn't—it was the only compensation that he could give them in order to make sure that he never betrayed these witches. You see, these were witches that wanted to see if they could make something powerful, something like how Esther done with her children and Bodie, but it wasn't until they were almost shunned by their coven that made them stop. But, unfortunately, there was something about the deal that Bodie made with them which got them shunned anyway—it was something that Bodie regretted, knowing how much being part of a coven meant to them.

He wasn't sure how long he was trying to find their house, though there was a part of him which knew that the reason he was finding it a struggle was the fact that he didn't want to be thrown out or there being a risk of being killed. He knew that there was a chance that he was being pathetic, that he was just overthinking as a whole, so he just shook his head in hopes to rid himself of the thoughts and found himself walking up the path to their home.

He'd spent some time going over the address that Henry sent him just to make sure that it was the right number. Bodie took in a deep breath and knocked on the door. For a moment, there was nothing, so he knocked again just in case there was a chance that no one heard him the first time. This time, he was more successful given that he'd heard someone shuffling towards the door.

The door opened and to his surprise neither Leo nor Elliot opened the door, it was a middle-aged man, presumably in his mid-forties, his hair dark in comparison to his lighter eyes. He felt like that he was looking at Elliot if he were older which also made Bodie realise that it was the father. "Hi. What can I do for you?"
