『Chapter Thirty-Four』
『the ball of mikaelson and erikson』⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
Bodie wasn't sure what was going on in his mind, but all that he could think about was the intense panic that he found himself in when he thought about the fact that not only were the rest of the Mikaelson siblings back but also Esther. Between everything, he found himself not knowing what to do for once in his life. He knew that there was a chance that he would overstay his welcome now that the rest of the siblings were back, and although there was a small part of him that wanted to go back to Henry and Will, he knew that there was a chance that they wouldn't like it despite the house belonging to Bodie as a whole.
Though, Klaus basically made Bodie stay at the Mikaelson household, despite what Bodie was feeling. Bodie knew that there was a chance that Klaus knew what he was feeling, he was sure that his heart gave it away—either that or the fact that Klaus could probably read him. At one point, Bodie wondered whether or not it was safe for him to stay here, given his promise to Rebekah and Klaus, he knew that if he stayed, they'd want to know what he's been hiding. And that was the main cause of his own panic.
Bodie tried not to panic or stress over anything, knowing that he needed to put up a front, but he found it rather hard. There was a small part of him that wanted to go running in the woods in his other form in hopes to calm down, but he knew that there was a chance that it would send up a red flag for Klaus to know that Bodie was worrying. How could he not worry? Esther was back, as were everyone else.
A part of him knew that there was more, that there was a part of him that wondered why Esther could come back to the land of the living and Bodie's mother couldn't. He knew that he shouldn't worry about such things, but the child within him found it unfair. He wanted his mother with him, to guide him through what he should do now, and he couldn't have that, but the Mikaelson's could. He wanted to slaughter everyone because of such a thing. Was this another curse for him to bare? Why was life cruel to him but somewhat kind to the rest of the Mikaelson's? Was this the consequence that he had to face continually because of the boy he killed?
Bodie found himself sat in some form of daze on an armchair, his legs over one of the sides. Rebekah was getting her nails done, Finn was having his suit tailored on him, Kol was looking at himself in the mirror while his suit was getting fitted. Elijah was basically inspecting his shoe though Bodie couldn't tell why, he wondered if Elijah was looking to see if they hadn't been scuffed or anything.
"Rebekah," Kol said, "tell me how handsome I am."
"Oh, Kol, you know I can't be compelled." Rebekah responded.
Bodie somewhat smiled at that, though he found himself jumping slightly when Klaus slammed the door open as he came walking in. Though, by this time, Bodie would argue that Klaus just struts everywhere, which was some form of distraction for Bodie at times if he wasn't so stressed."
