All spoken Elvish will be shown like this, since I do not know the translations, and I want Y/n to speak the language with others throughout the journey.
ִֶָ 𓂃⊹ ִֶָI rhode my steed with tremendous pace, bypassing any obstacles as best I could. I continued to follow the river Anduin, passing the kingdom of Lothlórien. A faint blue haze covered the forest and the surrounding area across the river. It was beautiful, in its own way.
I estimated that it would take me around 2 days to reach Rivendell, since I hadn't slept much- only stopping for my horse to rest, eat, and drink. I was beginning to worry that I would encounter the enemy on my journey, since I was soon approaching the High Pass, a place renowned for orc infestations. I hadn't travelled up here in a while, since when I did, I noticed that swarms of orcs claimed the district. I didn't know if they still lingered.
The sun was almost setting; I guessed it to be around 6 in the evening. An orange hue was cast over the vast plains around me. If all goes well, I should arrive at Rivendell by the early morning of the day after tomorrow.

It was peaceful. Too peaceful. And my suspicions were right. I froze at the feeling of an arrow whizzing past my right shoulder. An orc pack. I didn't want to lead them with me to Rivendell, so I had no choice but to take them out. From my perspective, there was about 12 of them, maybe a few more. I knew orcs weren't as smart as any other species, and they didn't know how to fight, but their weapons were sharp, and they knew how to swing.
I thought the High Pass would've been cleared, since I knew the elves on both sides liked to keep the orcs away. I circled the pack of orcs, taking them out one-by-one. My efforts were paying off, but very slowly. I had only managed to kill 5 of them so far. The best way would be for me to leave my horse and fight, keeping h/n from any danger. I rhode away from the fight and jumped off. "Run! My friend!" I shouted to my steed, and he seemed to understand because he fled in the direction of Rivendell. I hoped Gandalf would understand the problem.
I swiftly turned back around to face the remaining orcs. God, they were hideous creatures. I began swinging at them, aiming for their necks. It wasn't hard to dodge their attacks; they moved slower than me and had weaker and more blunt weapons compared to mine- but they would definitely do some damage though.
I managed to take out a few more, leaving around 8 of them. I began to worry. With the light fading and the enemies around me, I might not be able to find my way to the bridge to Rivendell. I would be late, and I knew Gandalf didn't take well to being late.
Pulling my bow from my back, as well as a few arrows, I began shooting the orcs. They went down easily after being shot once in the neck or chest. Thats when I would finish them off. I managed to shoot down all of them, at least managing to have shot them in the neck or leg, to prevent them from moving. What I didn't notice was the orc behind me, reaching for his weapon and swiping across the back of my legs, ultimately making me fall forward, hitting the ground.
My sword had landed a few metres away from me, so I reached for my bow again, pulling out the few arrows I had left. I swiftly shot the orc down and ran to my sword, reaching it, and impaling the remaining orcs.
I stumbled over to a rock and rested against it, grimacing at the orc corpses that laid in front of me. The back of my leg stung, and thats when I noticed the large gash going across both my calfs. It would need treating immediately if there was any chance of escaping an infection. My supplies were left with h/n, so I would have to make do with what I had on me. I ripped my sleeve, wrapping it around the worse of my legs. The sun was finally down and the High Pass became shrouded in a heavy fog. More orcs would definitely come if I didn't move. Though with my injury, it would take me a while longer to get to Rivendell.
Gandalf wanted to meet me in 3 days, and it was swiftly approaching the third. I didn't know what time the gathering would start, but I guessed sometime in the morning, after the sun had just risen.
Escaping the High Pass, I crossed over towards Rivendell. Though I didn't want to, I had barely rested and the energy was draining out of me as time went on. I left all my belongings on h/n, and I just hoped he had made it safely to Gandalf.
Crawling towards the cover of some trees, I took refuge for a few hours; just enough time to build back my energy and continue to Rivendell. Orcs didn't dare to cross this far across the High Pass so I would be safe for long enough.

Waking, I realised the sun was beginning to rise. I had slept longer than I should've, so I would need to get a move on. I was expected in Rivendell at around the dawn of 6 to be ready for the meeting, but I knew I would not make it for that time.
I stumbled up and steadied myself against a tree, continuing my journey. If luck was on my side, I could make it for just past when I was expected.
Gandalf POV
"My Lord, a horse has made it into our grounds. It carries a lot of baggage." I heard one of the guards speak to Elrond. I knew it was Y/N's horse since all the bags looked familiar. Lord Elrond looked back to me, questioning where the rider was.
"She'll be here soon."
