"The thing is I have a stylist so I don't have to think much about my fits." Jalen said. "What you need is a stylist."
Destiny sat in the center of Jalen's bed with Ryan as he spoke to them about the do's and don'ts of mens fashion. It had been awhile since they were all in the same space together and the three siblings missed being in one another's space.
"I don't like the idea of someone dressing me." Destiny said. "I'd rather figure out what to wear on my own."
Ryan took a grape from Destiny's bowl. "This baby doesn't like to take risks with her outfits. All she likes to do is go rogue for hours."
"I didn't go rogue." Destiny frowned. "I was off with a friend."
Jalen happened to know where Destiny was yesterday when she was with Jordan but that was because he saw her location on my Find My iPhone. He hadn't even been looking for Destiny when he tracked her phone and was instead trying to see where his mother was since she'd failed to answer his phone calls. Instead he saw Destiny's phone in San Fransisco, a few minutes from Jordan's house.
He wasn't going to ask many questions, though and instead just hoped Destiny knew what she was doing. Destiny wasn't a cheater and he knew that much but Jalen did know that Jordan tended to have a certain effect on women.
"Which friend?" Ryan asked.
Jalen chuckled. "Give her a break, Ry."
"I hung out with Jordan." She said in a tone the wasn't too loud or too quiet. "We just hung out so don't think weird about it."
"I'm not." Ryan said, exchanging a look with Jalen.
Jalen just shrugged, picking up his Playstation controller. "Hey, I mean... long as you safe. Jordan is cool peoples."
"Yeah." Destiny sighed. "And I do know what it looks like but that's not what it is. Honestly, he's just my friend. In spite of everything, I would never step out on Christian."
"Are y'all on the same page?"
She sat forwards, reaching to take a grape from the bowl. "With Christian or Jordan?"
Ryan pursed her lips. "Either one."
"Christian knows that I have hung out with Jordan before and he didn't mind." Destiny explained, using slight hand motions. "But as far as Jordan, I don't even think he... Honestly, I think he feels bad for me."
Her older sister leaned against Jalen's headboard. "I don't think that's true. When MeMe and I saw y'all in the arena hooping, he seemed to enjoy your company."
Jalen logged into his Playstation account, rocking the gaming chair back and forth. "I be missing so much. When did y'all play basketball?"
"We didn't really play a game. I was just trying to shoot the ball." Destiny said. "The one time, Dad caught us in while the arena was closed then the other time at Coach Kerr's farewell dinner."
Ryan chuckled. "So, what'd you guys do yesterday?"
"Swam in a lake. It was so fun and he wasn't going to at first but I got him to." She said, explaining with a large smile on her face. "Then he bought me a cheeseburger. It was so fun."
Jalen shrugged. "Well, we going out with the team if the Warriors win tonight. I don't know if Mom will let you but me, Ry, and MeMe are going."
"Wait, I want to go."
Ryan gave her a look. "You know you don't have to ask Mom, right? You're a grown up."
Destiny thought about the idea of telling her Mom that she wanted to go out with her siblings tomorrow night. Honestly, she'd done worse when she disappeared on two days when she was planning her wedding.
