"You okay, Tink?"
Destiny looked back up at Mariah, smiling softly. "I am. My stomach is bothering me a little bit."
"You wanna head back?"
"No. I'm having fun."
The girls were spending the day together in Tokyo, going around to try new foods and having a spa day. Destiny had to admit she was a little bothered about the video from yesterday, so her focus was being swayed but she did miss Jordan.
They hadn't talked much, for Destiny was annoyed and Jordan was giving her the space she needed. He and Jalen also spent the day with one another, most likely playing basketball and eating different foods as well.
"Tink, he's asking what color you want."
Destiny blinked several times, looking down at the man working on her feet. "Oh! White is fine. I'm so sorry."
"You good, baby girl?" Ryan asked.
"I'm okay. I just need to hurry up and eat."
That wasn't true. She needed to hurry up and see her boyfriend. Destiny kept reminding herself that it wasn't her vs. Jordan. It was Destiny and Jordan vs. this weird ass female.
After the girls finished their manicures and pedicures, Ryan and Jalen got in contact so the group could meet for dinner.
"So, how are you and Jordan?" Mariah asked, looking at Destiny.
She smiled from the backseat, deciding to disregard the certain situation they were in. "We're good. I think we're gonna get married eventually. I hope we do."
"If you don't walk out on it."
"I didn't walk out on it, Ryan." Destiny said, crossing her arms. "It just got cancelled due to a series of unfortunate events."
Ryan smiled, glancing up from the road. "I was teasing, baby. I'm glad you guys are doing well."
"Does he talk about marriage?"
"Honestly, Jordan likes to do mostly anything in complete spontaneity so we don't talk about anything beforehand. We just do it."
Mariah nodded. "I knew you guys would get together."
"What? I said something first." Ryan said, running her fingers through her hair. "Because Jalen was being dumb."
"But I thought it first."
"Wait, what?" Destiny leaned forward from the back seat of the rental car. "When was this?"
Her sister looked at her through the rearview mirror, using hand gestures as she spoke. "Remember the night we all went out but you didn't go?"
"That happens a lot."
"The day at the basketball game?" Ryan said, trying to refresh her memory.
"Babe, you guys go to like every basketball game."
"Shush, babe." Her eyes went back to Destiny. "We went out to celebrate with some Warriors players? The night Jordan told Jalen to give you his number and you guys talked on the phone the next day?"
"Ohh."
"Yeah. So, Jalen and I argued that day because I saw that you were developing a liking to Jordan while you were with Chris and that's fine because you didn't cheat but-"
Destiny shook her head. "Developed a liking?"
"Yeah. I actually said you were in love with him."
"I wasn't in love with him at that point."
