"So, the prenup was signed prior to the marriage becoming official so all assets will go to their respective sides." Joe's lawyer looked at Janine's lawyer, continuing. "Any dispute, there?"

Janine's lawyer looked around the table. "Is it necessary for everyone to be here?"

Destiny, Ryan, Jalen, Jordan, Mariah, and Christian sat quietly on the side of the table with Joe and his lawyer. This came about a week after Jordan was discharged from the hospital.

The Clark family wasn't surprised to know of Janine's antics, and believed Destiny wholeheartedly. She had Christian's proof and hospital proof. Joe served her divorce papers the same day and just two days later, here they were.

Destiny came clean to everyone about everything.

"My client has requested his children be here so they will be."

Janine's lawyer grew frustrated. "And the rest of them?"

"This woman has either directly or indirectly illegally  wronged each person this room." Nicole, Joe's lawyer, said. "Not only can they see that this divorce goes completely in my client's favor but when your client goes to trial for her wrong-doings over the years, they will be present as well. So, memorize the faces."

Tommy, Janine's lawyer, whispered to Janine and she whispered somewhere back before he turned to speak to Nicole. "My client would like to know what exactly you're attempting to charge her with."

Destiny smiled at Jordan as he rubbed her thigh.

Nicole shuffled through papers before finding the right one. "Interesting that you ask. Where do we start?"

"Can't be much, right?" Tommy asked.

"Oh. You poor thing." Nicole placed her glasses on, looking over the paper. "On top of Infliction of bodily harm against Mr. Poole, there's Distribution of Illegal substances regarding that incident as well."

"That it?"

"No." Nicole looked up then down. "Your ex husband made our group aware of other offenses as well. We have a Forgery of Federal Documents-"

Tommy looked at Janine. "Excuse me?"

"Yes. It says here in 2019, Janine Clark attempted to forge exemption letters that ultimately kept Jalen Clark out of his dream school, Duke University. Leading him to settle for UCLA." She continued. "Misappropriation of funds for a charity my client started, Attempted blackmail, Possession of unregistered firearm without a permit."

Janine scoffed, looking at the ceiling.

Nicole didn't take lightly to the gesture. "Who knows if my clients daughter is willing to keep quiet about what her mother forced her to do in 2010? She's so smart, I admit. Kept the Mom's old laptop hidden underneath her bed. Would be a sure shame if pictures got presented to a judge?"

Tommy took his glasses off and he and Janine had a very animated conversation through whispers. It was comical to watch Janine scramble to cover for herself when the walls were caving in on her.

"My client would like to talk about her 25% ownership of the Golden State Warriors." Tommy said, smiling.

Joe smirked, covering his mouth.

"Interesting that you bring that up." Nicole quipped, opening another folder and retrieving a a different document. "As of May 25th 2024, Janine Clark is no longer a percentage share holder of the Golden State Warriors Franchise."

Tommy squinted. "But to do that he'd have to sign them over to someone?"

"Who did you sign my percentage over to?" Janine seathed in anger, speaking out loud for the first time since everyone got here. "Answer me, Joe!"
