"Babe." Destiny mumbled sleepily, a goofy smile on her lips. "That tickles."
Jordan turned over. "Come on, Destiny. We gotta get up."
The model sat up in bed, looking around the bright room. Destiny had a very late shoot yesterday and she and Jordan went to the gym late last night. She didn't get very much sleep. When she checked her phone and got a look at the time she grimaced.
"Baby, it's 7 o'clock." Destiny complained, climbing out of bed anyway. "What are we doing?"
He shrugged, grabbing her hands. "Wanna go ta' Michigan today?"
"Really." Her mood perked up at the idea of traveling. "Of course. What made you think of that?"
"Old friend of mine might get drafted in a few days wanna chill for a day." He explained. "I wanted you to come with me."
Destiny agreed with a short shake to her head. "The draft is in 3 days, though."
Jordan lifted his shoulders and dropped them in one swift gesture. "We'll be back before that."
Destiny and Jordan were dead ass serious about Michigan. They were there by noon, taking a quick flight out after not talking anything over or thinking anything over. Honestly, the biggest choice they had to make was what they packed to wear.
"It's colder out here than it is in San Francisco." Destiny commented, holding up Jordan's camera and pointing it at the University of Michigan. "But it's not unbearable."
Jordan wrapped an arm around her waist. "You turnin' into me with that camera."
"I know." Destiny said, leaning against him as they walked. "Did you tell your Dean that you were coming to visit?"
"Yeah." He kissed the top of her head briefly, taking the camera from her hands. "Go stand in front so I can take a picture."
Jordan watched in adoration as Destiny slowly walked in front of the school. She had on one of her 5,000 Essentials sweatsuits and a pair of dunks. Her entire outfit matched Jordan's, much like he wanted it to.
Destiny smiled, putting up a peace sign making it impossible for Jordan not to smile. "You are so beautiful. Oh my goodness."
He held the camera up to snap her picture. Destiny waited for the flash before she moved. "You're so sweet."
Jordan didn't hear what Destiny said because he was too busy smiling at the picture of her he'd just taken. If it weren't already obvious enough, Jordan Poole thought the world of his girlfriend.
When he finally looked up shaking his head, they went inside the building. As expected, the Dean as well as a few of Jordan's old professors were there waiting for them in front of the main building.
"Jordan. It's nice to have you back." The Dean said, shaking his hand.
Jordan went down the line, shaking everyone's hand, and smiling endlessly. "Hi. How have y'all been?"
"We have a class that's going on right now that we want you to sit in on." The Dean said. "They can ask you questions and things like that."
Jordan held Destiny's hand as they walked through the hallways of Jordan's old college. "Sound cool. Which class is it?"
"It's public speaking. A class I understand you took."
He nodded, smiling. "Of course."
Destiny, Jordan, and the Dean took a long walk to the Fine Arts building where a public speaking course was being taught. All attention was stripped away from the professor when the three of them walked in.
