Jet Stream (Kirishima x OC)

Chapter 9: USJ Part 2

We approached the center of the facility after hearing some loud sounds of combat, spotting that All Might was in fact on the scene. The only thing was, he was injured and being held by the weird giant bird creature and the warp villain. We all silently selected a target, nodded to one another and went in for an attack. Bakugo got the warp villain easily before Midoriya got there and held him with his explosions. Kirishima went in to attack the pale guy with hands on his whole body, but he ended up missing his attack.

Todoroki was already on the scene too a few seconds before us and iced the creature into place, so I had used the thing's immobility to my advantage when I attacked it. I waited only until All Might had gotten the creature's claws out of his torso before I sent a powerful swing with my staff and enhanced it with my wind. The impact caused the creature arm to shatter completely off since I hit is on its iced part. I felt my arms reverberate with the hard hit as I glided down to All Might's side with the others.

"Are you ok, sir?" I ask the injured Pro, seeing a lot of blood coming out of his wound, and distracting myself from the creature I just crippled. If I don't look it, then I don't have to admit to myself that I shut cut the arm off of someone.

"I'm fine, young Yoarashi. You and the others need to leave though." All Might says as he pants, clearly in pain but putting on a brave face.

Meanwhile, Bakugo is threatening the warp villain and sending small explosions into the neck brace. I can hear the yell of pain as the explosions seep through the crack we made earlier, so it's good to know we can injure the bad guy. Listening to Bakugo speak though, he definitely sounds super evil, but his actions aren't evil at all. So even though Kirishima is teasing him for his word choice, we can all see that he's actually just doing his usual shit talking while he restrains the mist guy.

"Nomu." The pale hands-covered guy orders out after muttering to himself for a moment. Instantly, the bird creature crawls its way out of the double warps it was in and then collapses as it tries to stand on its frozen leg and shatters it. Then, in front of our very eyes, it starts to regenerate both a new arm and a new leg.

"Well, I don't feel so bad anymore." I mutter quietly to myself as I watch in disgust, but ready my staff in case it attacks again.

"Nomu is basically a genetically modified punching bag... that hits back." Hands guy says after talking to All Might a bit about what the Nomu creature is. "First, we need to free up our method of transportation."

Once he says that, my mind immediately goes to the warp guy, who is currently still held under Bakugo's grip still. I go to immediately try and pull him away from the villain with my wind, but I was way too slow. Nomu went after him at a lightning fast speed I didn't think the giant creature had and swung a punch at the explosive boy with so much force it started to push us all back.

I surrounded the rest of us with a dome of wind and waited until the force was settled. I hadn't noticed just yet that All Might had left my dome before I placed it since he was on my left, but I left a much smaller presence there now and turned to look to see what was going on. Instead of the giant Pro Hero at my side, it was Bakugo, who was previously several meters in front of me just a short moment ago.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya yells out in worry once I drop the wind dome, looking for his childhood acquaintance/friend/tormentor. We all see All Might standing where Bakugo had been and hear Bakugo coughing from the ground to my left. "Wow, Kacchan, you dodged!"

"What the hell? No I didn't you damn nerd." Bakugo counters as he stands back up.

"Man, All Might's so fast! I couldn't even reach you first with my wind and he had already tossed you over here." I say in both awe at the hero and annoyance with myself. If I was better with my quirk, I probably could have gotten Bakugo out of there long before All Might could have, and then the pro wouldn't have had to take the hit at all.
