~ Eijiro POV ~
"Dad! Eiji!" I hear Irisa yell as I fell through the hole in the floor. Her yell could still be heard over the whirls of her dad's wind as the ceiling closed back up again. "NOOO!" I stare up in shock and worry at the thick ceiling that separates me from my girlfriend, a slight sense of dread in the pit of my stomach forming. I shake that feeling off, reminding myself that if there's anyone who can handle themselves in a crisis, it's her. I'm surrounded by other Pro's, I know I'll be fine. Sure, she has the police, but otherwise it's really just her up there since most of the officers are not trained with their quirks. Surely that means the villains will target my group instead of hers, right?
"Good catch, Gale Storm." Fat Gum compliments the caped Pro, standing upright as the tornadoes that held us all gently let us stand on our feet again. Gale Storm caught every single one of us down here before we hit the ground. He only nodded slightly in response, his worried eyes looking up at the ceiling as well.
"Don't worry, she'll be fine up there. We, however, have company." Fat Gum says to him, and I look to see what he's talking about, finally pulling my own worries away from my girlfriend.
Three guys are standing in front of us, all ready to right. Each of them are wearing face masks of some type. I kind of recognize them from that long list of known Yakuza members, but that list was too long to memorize all of them. Now I'm wishing I paid more attention or had a better memory.
Aizawa erases their quirks right away and the few police that are with us begin to shoot at them, but all of their shots are missing because the villains are actually good at dodging. Fat Gum gets ready to fight the bad guys as well, but Amajiki raises his arm to stop him.
"These guys are only here to slow us all down." Amajiki says, not stuttering at all and sounding super confident compared to usual. "You all need to go on ahead, I can handle these guys myself." I stare in shock at his crazy statement, and then in even more shock when Fat Gum nods to him and leads the way out for the rest of us.
"Wait, we can't just leave Suneater alone!" I exclaim in worry for my new friend. He's outnumbered three to one, it doesn't feel manly to leave him alone.
"If Suneater says he can handle this, than I have complete faith in him." Fat Gum says, and follow behind him hesitantly. "His nerves get in his way the most, but he's not to be underestimated in his power!" I start to realize what he means, remembering how quickly Amajiki took down those gang members the other week.
"I get what you're saying!" I nod with more confidence, believing in the timid third year more now.
"Just do me one favor!" Amajiki calls out as he easily restrains the three guys, Aizawa knocking one of them out before following us out. "Take care of Mirio for me, he tends to be reckless!"
"I have a feeling Risa went after Togeta-Senpai, so don't worry!" I call over my shoulder, knowing my girlfriend will likely have gone after the crazy strong blonde third year.
"Risa?" Gale Storm asks me, his eyes narrowed slightly at me in agitation at the nickname I gave his daughter.
"Focus, both of you." Aizawa scolds, and then suddenly the halls shudder and warp again, that Mimicry guy likely close to us. At least that means he's not attacking Irisa's group anymore, so that's good.
I watch as a large portion of the wall shoots a pillar sideways into our group, and I see it's aiming for Aizawa right in front of me. I lunge forward to push him out of the way, knowing he's way more needed than I am right now and that I'll be fine taking the hit. I'm not entirely sure what happens after that though, because once the impact of the wall pillar hits me, I feel like I'm traveling way far away down a cave or something.
