Thankfully after all the back to back excitement of the USJ, the sports festival, and then the internships, the next few months were blissfully uneventful. I stuck to my training with Shinso, but added in once a week training with Kirishima and surprisingly with Bakugo, at his own request. He stomped up to me a few days after those races and demanded that we train together again, and despite his less than welcoming invite, I accepted. Kirishima I think just wanted an excuse to hang out with me, and I certainly wasn't going to pass up a chance to train nor a chance to spend time with him.

Bakugo was starting to feel like a tightly wound up ball of anger at times. I think something really pissed him off during the internships, or maybe during the races, and if I had to venture a guess, I think it was Midoriya. I asked him about it, and his unsurprising answer was to yell and say he was fine, but something felt less fine about him. Our sparring sessions were certainly getting harder and harder since he kept fighting with more anger. It makes me kind of jealous that he actually fights better when he's angry, but it doesn't mean I like it when he's angry. I've had to call off our sparring mid-match a few times now because he kept getting too aggressive, and that of course just irritated him more. I've tried to be civil and let him have an outlet, but he keeps closing up and not talking. I can tell at least it's not me he's mad at, so that's at least good.

"You've all been doing well during the semester so far, and I expect you to have been studying hard as well, because your final exams are one week from today." Aizawa announces towards the end of class a few months into school. "There will be three days of written exams, and then you'll all have a practical exam on the last day. Those of you that fail the exams won't get to go to the training camp." He shuffles his paper into his grip as he walks to door, looking back at us to add one last statement in a cool tone. "Good luck."

Mina and Kaminari proceed to freak out since their midterm scores placed them in the bottom two spots. My own scores weren't as good as my entrance scores, but I still got 5th place. It makes sense, I had been so focused on the sports festival at that time that my regular academics were falling behind. Since then I've been taking good notes though.

I had started spacing out so much I didn't realize that most of the class were signing up to go to Momo's house to study. I only tuned in when I heard her talking about some fancy teas, one of which I know that Makoto likes to make for himself.

"Sounds like I should be trying to study with her." Kirishima says from the side of Bakugo's desk. I turn around and tilt my head at him in confusion.

"Why would you study with someone else?" I ask in confusion. "I've always studied by myself, or with my brother but he doesn't count since we have the same brain. Does it help you to study from others?"

"Oh, you must take really good notes then, let me see!" He says excitedly, then I hand him my notebook to show him. "I... I don't understand any of this!! This isn't even written in order! How do you understand this!?"

"So I get a little distracted when I write them." I pout as I go to grab my book back, but Bakugo snatches it first.

"There's no chance in hell you can pass by studying this nonsense crap." Bakugo growls out with a passion as he holds my notebook.

"You offering to tutor then?!" Kirishima asks him excitedly.

"I'll beat it into your thick skull." Bakugo answers confidently before turning his sharp gaze to me. "And I'll make sure your dumbass airhead can understand it."

"Just because my way is different then yours doesn't mean it's wrong." I defend myself as I snatch my notebook back. Then to prove my point, I snatch his notebook and open it up, but feel my jaw drop when I see his notes. "They're beautiful. And your handwriting is so neat! I wasn't expecting that."
