Chapter 4: Marriage Done

The marriage day...

Everyone reached the venue of the marriage.. As it has been planned to be a simple marriage they called the marriage registrar and only close family people..

Vanessa is still pissed on the things happening around..

Pari came and greeted her

P: Hi , I am Pari. Mishti's sister.

Van: Can you just tell your sister to stop this stupidity? why she is marrying without even meeting him?

P: excuse me? you are his sister right..

Van: yes.. and only sane person who is feeling these two are mad and so is our parents agreeing to this madness

P: Pari chuckled

Van: Am I sounding funny?

P: hahaha.. no I can feel you .. 

Vanessa looked at her calmly..

Van: why didnot you try to convince your sis not to do this stupidity? marriage is not a game or deal..

P: because she does what she wants.. if she thinks of doing something...noone in this world can stop her to do that.. and she only follows her brain because according to her heart just pumps bloods into the body..that's it..

Van: hmm.. perfect match then..what else should I say..

P: means?

Van: I am bearing the same things for years now with my bhai..so yeah they found the perfect match.. now we need to tolerate both..

Pari chuckled..

P: chill.. hey what's your name?

Van: Vanessa

P: chill Vanessa.. if you say they are perfect match.. it would be interesting to see them battling around as couple....rather than having some match who will just obey them...

Van: you mean.. their marriage they are thinking to be calm will be fun and sassy because they both are competitive and self obsessed and best.. she said excitedly..

P: yeah.. and may be that's what they want in life.. someone who can challenge them.. so yes.. they got it by god's grace effortlessly..

Van: true.. and the best part is they cant blame the parents.. or anybody.... because they decided it by themselves... and if they complain it will hurt their ego.. and they wont....right? 

P: exactly.. and they hifive eacheother..

Van: welcome to the gang Pari.. I love you already..

VD and MD announced the marriage will start now..

Veer came to stage..and stood next to Vanessa

Mishti also came and joined the stage..

Mishti's look

They exchanged same formal smile to each other and looked straight..

First they signed with the witnesses. Then the both were emotionally blackmail to do atleast the vermillion and the mangalsutra thing by their parents..so they agreed..

The marriage was over peacefully... and they talked to the people in courteous manner to end it smoothly. 

At night...

Veer was going to room.. for the first time in life he will be sharing his room that was irking him already..in between Vanessa and Pari came..

Van: bhai do ask your wife.. (Veer gave a look).. I mean bhabi ..why she said yes..

P: bye jeez.. all the best.. 

Veer was clueless about these two bonding and these sentences but shrug that off..

Veer entered his room and found it decorated with red flowers and candles and got what exactly they were talking about..

He saw "his dolled up bride" on the bed sitting in her lehenga and jewelery itself..

Veer: hi.. miss..sorry I forgot your name.. but today itself I want to make it clear.. Don't expect anything from me emotionally..

And the bride stood over the bed and jumped down making his eyes wide open

M: It's Mishti.. and I don't expect anything from anyone in life..so don't worry.. You are at safe hands I believe..

V: cool.. Its Veer.. You can call me Veer..

M: it's Mishti..you can call me Mish or T if you find it too sweet for you.. I don't think you are habituated with much of sweetness..she smirked..

V: excuse me..?

M: that's truth..you too know it and she went near to the mirror to take off this jwellery

V: by the way can I ask you something?

M: shoot..

V: if you have guessed I am the way I am why you were sitting in the bed waiting for me like our most awaited first night..?

Misti looked at him..

M: because of you... and she turned back

Veer rolled his eyes..

V: Me?

M: ofcourse you..

V: how exactly miss Mish?explain..

M: it's Mrs. now.. and two miss Mish don't sound phonetically right.. so I will prefer Mish..she started doing her work what she was doing in front of the mirror..

Veer rolled his eyes again..

V: unbelievable..(in low voice).. so can I get the answer..?why because of me?

M: because it is your room.. then decoration...red rose.. so I wanted to clear your head not to get any ideas.. but yes.. you said it first..

V: oh yeah.. stupid jobless brothers and sisters.. I think you can understand..

M: surely I do.. they have so much time to waste.. I feel you..

Veer looked at her like she was giving his own vibe to him..

M: So I have few terms and conditions to be cleared on our first night itself... like as you have already started it I will just make it more clear. so that we wont have any issues in future.. 

V: nice to know someone also believes that marriage is just all about terms n conditions..so shoot 

M: ofcourse it is.. so ..ya.. 1. we will not interfere in each other's personal space..2. We will pretend only if our parents are around if and only if needed....or else we will be as we are..and I feel we are pretty cool 3. We will not interfere in eachother's work.. And from now this is both of our room..so we will share everything as a part of the deal that we have just signed today..

Veer smirked with a smile..

V: impressive... fine with me.. Now I have few conditions too..1. we will not ask our whereabout if not too urgent.. 2. We will not expect anything emotionally or physically from eachother, 3. we will be permanent roommates with no strings attached...

M: suits me.. Lets sleep then.. I will sleep on right side of the bed and you can have left one..

V: are you sure.. ?

M: 100%.. I don't trust people emotionally... but with terms and conditions professionally I know whom to trust whom to not.. and you are a great businessman.. so it is easier to trust.. So yah..

V: cool enough...Tomorrow I will arrange the closet for you..dont unpack much things..anyway we will be moving to Singapore in 3 days..so till then manage..

M: perfect..

They changed into regular clothes....and slept.
