Chapter 18 : Their banters

The meeting started.

R: hi Dr. Khanna. how are you now?

M: a lil better now.

R: what exactly happened?

Mishti looked at Veer who was smiling

M: actually I had fever so.

R: how you got fever? did you meet the doctor?

V: why do you need to know everything Rey. She is here for meeting not for taking the care.. I don't think she likes that too.. So can  we start  the meeting..

R: chill Veer. we are starting. you only informed me that she was not well. so is not that our responsibility.

M: It's ok. Mr. Oberoi has done enough of his responsibility. so lets just start the meeting...

The meeting and discussion went went and they decided to pitch the client with the same.

V: so lets end the meeting..

R: yeah Veer you take care.. see you tomorrow..

V: yeah

R: and Dr. Khanna.. you too take care.. I hope you have someone to take care of yourself.. if you need any help just call me.

V: dont worry. I think she has. Is not it Dr. Khanna? 

M: dont worry Mr. Reyansh I will be fine. I have people to take care of me here.and if I need I will call..

Veer just raised his eyebrow and disconnected the meeting..

M: you are rude..

V: and you lied too

M: because of you..

V: and I dont like personal talks in meetings..

Mishti didnot answer.

V: are you still angry?

M: for?

V: dont know ..may be yesterday?

M: no

V: I went to buy a bike and while taking the test run it skit. So the accident happened..

Mishti raised her eyebrow..

V: I love bikes..but I dont have one here.. My parents dont like..

M: I hate bike.. and hate the people who try to do stunt and end up getting admitted in hospital..

V: are you taunting me?

M: have you done the same?

V: I am sorry. Next time I will inform you first. promise..

M: no need... and she left..

V: why these women hate bikes.. first mom now she... I cant understand both when they are angry..

Veer came out for lunch.

V: so?

M: have lunch Mr. Oberoi we are having meeting with client.

Veer raised his eyebrow..

M: I am working from home you know.. and you are the boss.. I am not having holiday .remember?

V: I see.. he smirked.. lets have lunch then Dr. Mishti Khanna

M: surely

They had lunch and started the client meeting.

They discussed the plan and gave the presentation. Everything went well.

C: So nice talking to you again Mr. Veer and Dr. Mishti. Mr. Veer , Mr. Reyansh told me you had an accident yesterday. Are you alright now?
