Chapter 26: BECAUSE I LOVE YOU

V: Mishti you are coming with me to South Korea..

M: no I am not..

V: why are you complicating things and mixing professional life with personal..?

M: really Veer?.. I am mixing? Who revealed our relation to all the office..who called me Mrs Mishti Veer Oberoi ?.who kissed me infront of all the office?..and you are telling me I am mixing both..?

Veer took one step closer to her mending the gap between them and looked into her eyes

V: if you really think by telling this I will regret what I have done.. You are mistaken..I won't..

Mishti just looked at him speechless..

V: I havenot done anything that I should apologize or regret also ..get that straight Mrs. Mishti Veer Oberoi..

M: see thats the problem.. you are very stubborn..

V: and you want to say that you have no feelings for me? And you want to say I have forced the kiss on you.?.forcing me on you?

She did not answer.. She could see only sincerity in his eyes when he asked this..and she did not know what should be the answer

V: tell me Mishti don't you have any feelings for me.. ?

She looked away

M: No

V: louder Mrs. Oberoi.. I could not hear you..

M: I said NO..

V: Are you sure..?

M: by repeating the same question do you think my answer will change..?

V: fair enough.. Then if you dont have any feelings for me then I should not affect you too..right..?

M: you don't affect me at all..

V: I see..he smirked..

Before she could understand.. He pinned her between the wall and him....and held her bare waist inside her blazer..

V: what you just said? I have no effect on you?

Mishti just nodded no.. She could not utter anything as the proximity was betraying her words..

He crooked his head into her neck..and mishti closed her eyes..

He kissed her neck softly...and smiled to see her eyes were still closed as usual

He caressed her cheek with his thumb..and she opened her eyes

M: Veer what..she could not finish ..but veer placed his lips on her softly and passionately

Mishti did not protest..and just gave in again melting on his touch ..

He broke the kiss and pulled himself off..and pulled her closer and locked his both hands on her waist..and looked at her..

V: so Mrs Oberoi you don't have any feelings for me? Then how can you like my touch..? Don't tell me this was a forced kiss mishti..?

M: I hate you Veer..

V: Hate me for what? That I make you feel vulnerable when I touch you and you lose control over yourself and protective shield goes off.. He smirked with a smile..

Mishti knew whatever he was telling was the truth..But she is Mishti.

M: Don't give yourself so much importance Mr. Oberoi.. Everything is not about you..?

He raised his eyebrow

V: Really Mrs. Oberoi? you mean to say you will react the same with anybody's touch?

M: may be..you never know.. She knew that was a lie, no one would affect him except Veer..  but she did not want to give in..

Veer held her by her shoulder tightly.

M: you are hurting me..Veer....

V: and you are hurting me Mishti... No one has the right to kiss you or touch you other than me like this.. No fucking one..

He hit the wall with his fist..she was startled at his sudden outburst..but she had to finish this kiss topic as it was bothering her so much..

M: why Veer..? Tell me a reason why? Why you dont want anyone else near to me.? or anyone else to kiss me?

V: because I LOVE YOU..and YOU ARE MINE..

Mishti was unable to process what he told ..she did not expect that at all..

V: yes I LOVE YOU..Cant you understand that simple thing?. Can't your intuition work here Miss genius scientist? .. I fucking love you..and I am going to South Korea since you are determined to not to come with me ..think what you feel for me..there will be no one to disturb your thought for the next five days.. Not even me..

V: bye mishti..take care..He kissed her forehead..

And retreated himself back and left his cabin.

Mishti stood there for 15 min closing her eyes just trying to analyse what just happened.... Tears started flowing from her eyes automatically...she wiped her tears..and came to her senses and realised he left long back
