Chapter 15 : Veer's birthday

Few days passed in the project hustle.. She is the best.. but she works insanely..

This is the quality Veer loves about Mishti and sometime gets irritated with when she feels dizzy due to overworking..

There was a project meeting with the investor and both were very stressed...

Mishti entered the room zoned out and entered the washroom and switched the shower on..

With the shower sound Veer opened his eyes who was inside the bathtub closing his eyes..

He stood up and wore the bathrobe..and called her..

V:Mish

M: what are you doing here..

V:stop the shower first..

M: oh yeah..

she stopped the shower..

M: sorry I was zoned out.. I didnot know when I came in..

V: that I saw..

M: sorry.. actually was a little bit into the problem of the work.. so

V: sometimes I dont understand whether I should be happy as a boss that you are so into work or be worried as a husband that you are insane when you work..

M: why you didnot close the door then?

V: hm. I was thinking something...

M: go and change you will get cold..

V: look who is talking..

M: you go and change ..I will come afterwards

She came wearing a bathrobe and Veer changed already.

V: what were you thinking so deep?

M: nothing ..some solution was not coming so was pestered a bit..

V: you are mad Mishti..

M: what happened to you.. normally you are calm then?

V: nothing.. was just thinking something.. can we go for a coffee? 

M: it's dinner time

V: hm. ok. lets have dinner

M: I can make coffee if you want after having dinner

Veer smiled.. 

M: let me change first.. 

They had dinner peacefully..

M: sit I will bring coffee..

V: no lemme come too.. he too went to kitchen .and talked there while she was making coffee

Mishti made the coffee and they had..

V: I loved this one.. I usually love tea made by me.. but this is good..

M: thanks.. I don't drink tea much..

V: then try my  tea and then comment.. you will fall in love with my tea

M: so much confidence..so will try and give the report..

Veer was smiling..

It was 12 am

Veer's phone started beeping with few messages. He opened.. and smiled.

M: anything special?

V: nothing..

Vanessa messaged Mishti.

Van: did you wish bhai on birthday?

M: Today?
