Chapter 25: Denial

Evening she woke up from her sleep saying "Veer"

V: did you call me?

M: noo.. I did not..

V: I clearly heard my name..

M: your problem then.. let me go and get fresh..

She went to the washroom.and saw herself in the mirror..

M: what the fuck is wrong with me.. Now I am having romantic dreams.. That too of Veer.. What this guy is doing to me.. This is not the way we decided everything.. I cant let him control my emotions and now my dreams..

She splashed cold water on the face and came out..

She went for dinner and Veer already served for both..and started eating without saying anything..

V: Are you fine Mish?

M: why do you care?

V: you know the answer..he looked into her eyes..

M: stop doing what you are doing to me Veer..

V: and what exactly I am  doing Mish? .he raised eyebrow.

M: We had a deal right..you said no physical and emotional thing you can offer then why did you kiss me. ?

V: please lemme know under which clause it came..physical or emotional..?

M; you cant do this to me Veer..stop playing with words..

V: what exactly i am doing...tell me clearly..

V: i always believed hate is the most true emotion more than love. So you hate me means I occupy your mind and heart..hate is stronger than love you know.. So it is ok for me..he smirked..

M: just stop all this right here..

V; why.. And what will you do other than hating me more.  I am in for that..

M: in for what..

he sat closer..in for getting your more hate.. And she pushed him...but he looked into her eyes..and it making her weak..she closer her eyes..

V: he smirked.  Hate me looking into my eyes mishti..

M: why are you doing this...what about me..

V: eat.. We will talk tomorrow. You should not be stressed out..

M: stop this Veer.. I am not able to take this anymore.. Stop this care ..i am hating this..

She left and took the duvet and went to the couch..

Veer entered the room and saw her lying in couch..didn't utter anything and went to the balcony looking at the stars..

V(mind): Mr. Veer Oberoi you know what you have gotten into.. You don't have any choice either...story of your life..she will be a tough nut to crack..

Mishti was looking at him lying in the couch..but could not sleep..

After 1 h..he came and went to the couch

V: so you dont trust me anymore?

Mishti did not answer..

V: you can sleep here on bed.. I will go to the couch..

Mishti looked at him..

V: doctor told you needed proper sleep..and that is important for me.. Dont look at me like that..

Mishti did not utter anything and moved to the bed..

Veer took the duvet and settled himself on the couch..

Morning Mishti woke up first and saw him turning uneasily in the couch.. and kept staring...Which was broken by his alarm..

He woke up..and saw her already woke up..

V: are you ok?

M: we should get ready for office..

V: hm..

They did not exchange a single word.. And instead of dropping mishti before office..he took the car to the parking..

Mishti looked at him..

V: everyone knows you are my wife..so that much rights I have.. I can drop my wife in her office..

Every words of him was hitting Mishti  to the core..but the shell was still strong enough to be broken..

They entered office..

Everyone looked at them like they were alien.

V: do your job guys for that i am paying you not for staring at me.

Mishti went to her seat..

Ria: so he is your husband..why did not you tell us?

M: what is there to tell..?

Ria: that this hottie sexy arrogant most eligible bachelor is hitched by you..

Ria: ooh sorry..I cant tell him hot or sexy..

M: tell whatever you want..but to him.. Not to me..she was pissed..

Xen: so is he still that rude and cold as husband? Yesterday though we saw a different Veer Oberoi only for you?

M: you guys are so free to discuss about me and my husband? But i have work...also how he is..how he behaves with me..that is between us..and our personal matter..why should I tell you.. I dont think he will like that topic dicussion either..so focus on the work.

They all left her..

M: (in mind) what the fuck ..why I will give explanation to anybody that what is between us. It is all happening because of him.. Because he kissed me infront of whole office.. And said Mrs. Mishti Veer Oberoi.. I am hating you more Veer

After 2 h..

Veer called Mishti to his cabin..

V; we have flight at 7 pm for South Korea. You remember right?

M: I am not coming with you..

V: Mishti?

M; what?

V: Mishti you are coming with me to South Korea..
