Chapter 20: Project Success Party

Few months passed like this...with them being close to each other.. showing rights on each other.. but without even realising they are falling for each other or already fell for each other. Finally their first project together got completed . It was very important for Mishti, Veer and VR. The company called for a success party.

Morning:

R: Dr. Khanna and Veer your South Korea visit is scheduled in 3 days.. fine with both of you right?

before Veer could say anything..

M: yes fine with both of us. don't worry. we will go. Right? he looked at him.

Rey was surprised to see Mishti talking on Veer's behalf too.

Veer just smiled. and nodded yes.

M: so just send our details. anyway I am going experimental lab.

She looked at Veer.. and he blinked in affirmation.

R: what's going on?

V: nothing..

R:really?

V: yes..

R: dont you think she is now too comfortable with you.. and she replied on your behalf too.

V: are you jealous? dont be.. not worth your time.. he smirked and left making him confused

Evening in room

Veer got ready for the party in his blazer.

Mishti too came in blazer and formal.

V: seriously Mishti? formal?

M: it's a professional party. and noone in office saw me in casuals .so better.

V: it's fine.. they will be shockingly surprised. what say..

Mishti smiled..

M: not a bad idea..

She changed in a casual white floral top with palazzo and heels and the sling bag..and took a red short blazer

Veer couldnot take his eyes off her.

M: I am ready

V: yeah I can see that. too ready.

M: means?

V:nothing. you are looking perfect. lets go.

they reached office..

Everyone gave a shocked look to see Mishti in the party and was complementing too much.. which was irking Veer a bit. but didnot show. 

A: so raising the toast to the wonderful team mishti and veer..#mishveer ...made for each other..

Them along with Rey looked at Ayaan and then at each other..

A: I mean the perfect team they are. it is rare to find. They ace every project with such ease.

Ayaan made Veer drink the champagne from the bottle.. and went to mishti to do the same.. who looked uncomfortable..

Veer didn't think a bit..and took the bottle..

V: Ayaan, Rey is calling you.. This I will do..

Ayaan went from there..

V:are you ok?

M: why?

V: dont know I felt you were not comfortable..

M: hmm..I dont drink much and not like this..so many people are there..and truly I dont want to make a fool out of my drunk self..
