Zee's POV.

I pulled up to the house , getting out of the car as I slammed the car door. I rush into the house as Nat then walked down the stairs.

"Woah , what the hell happened ?!" Asked Nat worriedly.

"Where's Nhu ?" I asked.

"He is in the room , wha-." I quickly ran upstairs without listening to the rest of Nat's word. I quickly ran to my room , opening the door. I look around not seeing anyone but soon saw the balcony door opened. I quickly rush towards it and soon saw Nunew standing at the balcony. I breathe hard as he then turned around , seeing me.

"Aow , Zee .. you're back .." he said with a soft smile. He then frown , looking at my restless expression. I slowly walked towards him as he did the same.

"What happened to your head ? It's bleeding !" He exclaimed as I then clutch my fist.

"Zee , what wr-." I hugged him tightly , cutting him off. I sigh , holding him tightly against me. I hide my face on his shoulder , taking in his vanilla scent.

Nunew's POV.

I froze in my spot as Zee hugged me tightly. I slowly hugged him back , rubbing his back lovingly. After a while , he pulled back , still holding me close. I look up to him , seeing nothing but worries in his eyes. I gently placed my hand on his cheek , caressing it making him leaned more into my palm. I then went on my tiptoe , hugging him tightly making him pulled me closer by the waist. I caress the back of his head gently as he hide his face on my neck.

I slowly made Zee sit on the bed as I then walked towards the night stand. I kneeled down , taking out a first aid kit in the lower drawer. I then walked back to Zee , placing the first aid kit down beside him. I opened it , taking out a few cotton balls and a disinfectant cream for wounds.

I stood in between his legs making him look up to me. I slowly push his hair back , revealing his wound on his temple.

"Tell me if it hurts .." I said before treating his wound. I held his nape , in case he was tired due to the tilting. Zee kept his eyes on me the whole time I treated his wound. After I was done , I grabbed a bandage , placing it over his wound.

"There .." I said as I placed the trash aside. I was about to walk away when he grabbed my wrist making me turn to him. He then slowly hugged my waist , placing his head on my stomach. I look down to him before caressing his head gently. He hugged my waist tightly as a fond smile appeared on my face.

He then lifted his head up , looking up to me making me caress his cheeks. I smile as I then slowly leaned down placing a small peck on his lips. He smile softly before placing his head back onto my stomach. I smile , running my fingers through his hair as I kissed the top of his head.

I sigh , resting my head on Zee's chest as I hug his waist.

"Zee .." I said making him hum as a reply.

"Are you scared of death ?" I asked all of a sudden making him chuckle.

"Not really .." he said making me frown , lifting my head up to him.

"You're not afraid of death ?" I asked as he nod.

"How are you not afraid ?" I asked.

"I guess because .. I am a mafia .." he answered making me roll my eyes.

"You see being a mafia .. you may not know whether we're going to stay alive or not. There's so many people after us. You just have to prepare for it." He said as I sigh , nodding. I guess Zee was right , being a mafia is risky and dangerous. Mafias has both enemies and alliances.

"But now .. I do have one thing that I am afraid of .." he said making me frown , sitting up.

"What is the one thing that you are afraid of ?" I asked , curious.

"You really want to know ?" He asked as I nod eagerly. He chuckled , sitting up as he leaned his back against the headboard.

"One thing I am afraid of is ...." He said as I listened intently.

"Is losing you ..." he said making me look at him with soft eyes. He then grabbed my hand , holding it tightly as he caress my wedding ring.

"I can't lose you ..." he continued.

"Losing you is my biggest fear .." he said before looking at me.

"I don't know what will I do if I lose you. I don't think I would ever forgive myself if something would happen to you." He said.

"Zee ... you won't lose me .." I said softly.

"I am still here am I .. and plus .. we're married now ...if anything happens , I know you'll come and save me .." I said making him smile.

"I would do anything to come and save you , even if it kills me .." he said making me giggle. I then placed my hand over his.

"Promise me , you'll come to me no matter what."  I said , putting out my pinky. He looked at my pinky before looking at me.

"I promise." He said , linking his pinky with mine. I then kissed his hand while he kissed mine to seal the promise. I giggled making him pinch my cheeks. I then hugged him tightly making him chuckle , rubbing my back lovingly. I sigh , closing my eyes but soon reality struck me. I realized not only Zee is afraid. I am also afraid of losing Zee. I just feel too attached to him. It scares me to think that there's a possibility that I might lose Zee. I just hope that if that happens , It'll be just a dream. I don't want it to be a reality. I lost someone who knew me deep down but somehow , that brought me to meet Zee.

"I love you Zee .." I whispered making him pulled away , cupping my cheeks.

"I love you so much more , my angel .." he said , rubbing the tip of his nose against mine. I smile , hugging him tightly. I hide my face on his shoulder , taking in his vanilla scent that calms myself down instantly. His warmth that keeps me safe.

"God ... I can't afford to lose him .. please .. please ... I can't lose him .." I thought.

"Please don't leave me , Zee ... I need you ... god , I need you here with me ...." I sigh , closing my eyes , trying my best not to cry.
