Nunew's POV

Pure held my arm as we walked into the huge house where the party is.

"Woah .. take a look at this house .. this must be Khun Wang's house .." said Pure as we walked towards the ballroom.

"It's literally like a palace .." I said making her nod.

"Aow , Nhu ! Pure !" We turned to see our manager.

"Look at you both !" She said as we both smile.

"I almost didn't recognize you both due to your amazing mask !" She exclaimed making me and Pure chuckle.

"Do enjoy the party na~" she said before walking away.

"She is still the same even with a mask." Said Pure making me giggle , shaking my head.

"Oh ! There's the bar ! I am gonna get us drinks !" She said , running off to the bar. I chuckled , standing there as I fold my arms. I look around the place , looking at the beautiful interior of the ballroom. I soon heard laughter making me turn to see Khun Wang talking to his people. I soon frown seeing a guy next to him and for some reason he looks familiar.

"Welcome back Park ! My old friend !"

I snapped out of my trance as he then made eye contact with me. Suddenly someone grabbed my arm making me turn.

"Nhu .." he said as I look at him.

"J-Jade .." I said.

"Baby , what are you doing here ? Why didn't you tell me that you're here ?" He asked as I frown , pushing his hand away before folding my arms.

"Why should I tell you ? We're not together anymore remember." I said coldly.

"Oh come on baby , are you still mad at me ?" He asked making me chuckle in disbelief.

"How can you ask me that question if you clearly know the answer." I said as he sigh.

"Baby .." he said.

"Stop calling me 'baby'. It's Nunew for you now." I said , coldly.

"Look can we talk about it first .." he said making me rubbed my temple.

"There's nothing to talk about Jade , you know what you did wrong !" I exclaim.

"It was all just a misunderstanding , please let's just talk things out , let me explain myself .." he said as I rolled my eyes.

"No. I am not going to listen to you anymore." I said wanting to walk away but he grabbed my wrist , dragging me out of the place.

"Jade ! Stop !" I said , trying to push his hand away but he kept dragging me out till we reached an outside garden.

"Stop being so rude !" I shouted as he let go of my wrist. I breathe hard , looking at him.

"Listen , what you saw was just misunderstanding , there's nothing going on between me and that woman." He said as I chuckled in disbelief.

"Nothing going on ? Jade , you kissed her right in front of me !" I fought back.

"She was drunk Nhu ! I swear ! I wanted to push her away !" He said making me frown.

"Please believe me.." he said holding my hand as I shook my head , pushing his hand away.

"First you tell me that you didn't mean to kiss her .. then now you're telling me that she was drunk when I clearly saw you initiated the kiss yourself ! How can I trust you Jade ?!" I asked in frustration. I breathe in and out , trying to calm myself down.
