Nunew's POV.

I sigh for the hundredth time. I couldn't sleep at all. I turned my body around , seeing Zee fast asleep beside me.

"How is he sleeping so soundly ?" I thought , pouting. I then touch my lips , remembering what happened just now.

"Zee .." I breathed out , pulling away as he look at me and down at my lips.

"I think we should stop .." I said softly. He then leaned forward , trying to kiss me again but I held his by the chest , humming.

"Zee .." I said , giggling softly making him look at me.

"We are getting married tomorrow ... and I want it to be special ... so .. can you wait a just a little bit longer ?" I asked as he then chuckled , nodding.

"Krub .." he said as he then peck my lips all of a sudden making me hum in surprise. He chuckled making me shake my head.

"Let's go to sleep hm .. we have to be up early tomorrow .." he said and I nodded slowly. I was about to get down from the counter when he grabbed my waist , holding me in place. I frown in confusion as he look up at me.

"Zee , what are you doing ? Didn't you say we should go up and sleep ?" I asked and he nodded. He then hook his hand under my knees , lifting me up from the counter making my eyes widened in surprise as I hold him tightly.

"Let's go .." he said making me chuckle in disbelief as he then slowly made his way upstairs with me in his arms.

I then look at my ring , pouting my lips. In less than a few hours , I'll be married to one of the most dangerous mafia in the world. I slowly look at Zee.

"Am I doing the right thing ?" I thought. Zee then slowly turned his body to face me , moving closer to me. He soon slowly opened his eyes making me freeze.

"Why aren't you asleep , hm ?" He asked softly.

"Did I .. wake you ?" I asked making him shook his head.

"After hearing you sigh .. I eventually woke up .." he answered. He then slowly placed his hand on my cheek , caressing it gently.

"What's on your mind , baby ?" He asked.

"I was just wondering .. if .. us getting married .. is really what we want .." I said softly , avoiding eye contact.

"Do you really want to marry me , Zee ?" I asked.

"Of course I do." He answered without hesitation.

"Nhu ..." he said making me look at him.

"You don't know how in love I am with you." He said.

"But it's fine because I promise .. I am going to show you my love towards you no matter what ... I'll protect you with all my life .. I'll make sure that nothing will ever happen to you." He said as he then grabbed my hand , holding it tightly as he then placed it on his chest where his heart is.

"All I need you to do is to ... trust me." He said softly making me nod slowly , smiling slightly.

"Krub .." I said making him smile.

"Lets get married .. Zee." I said as he then nodded , chuckling.

"Come here .." he said opening his arms as I slowly moved closer to him. I wrapped one of my arm around his waist , hiding my face on the crook of his neck. He held me tightly , placing his chin on the top of my head , sighing in relief. I smiled to myself before closing my eyes.
