It's Saturday, This week although not like before but me and Haarsh did spoke and spent time, It felt good having him by my side after all these years.
I was making breakfast, and opened refrigerator to take out the milk for my strawberry milkshake I didn't saw it there.
WHAT THE—
I was craving for straberry milkshake today, I whined.
Who else could it be!
"Haarsh!" I shouted from the kitchen but got no reply. "Haarsh Singhania!" I shouted again, but got no response.
Why on earth is he not responding?
I marched towards his room and banged the door. "Haarsh you stupid rotten piece of shit open the damn door!"
Did he died or what?
I opened the door handle and it opened, What this boy is doing—
"They are in that one building, Alex! ..... Alex damn they are attacking us, where's Aiden?" He was sitting in front of his PC it's all gaming set up.
So he's busy playing games ....
I rolled my eyes, but then something clicked in my mind and I smirked. I walked towards him and leaned down, he still didn't noticed me.
I grabbed his headphone from his left ear and shouted, "HAARSH YOU DUMBASS!!" He flinched and fell off. His face was worth seeing, I was laughing my heart out while he was glaring at me, and trying to calm his heart heart.
"Alex... I have to go, we'll play some other time!" Then he turned towards me. "WHAT?"
"Where's the milk I bought?" I narrowed my eyes. "This all for a damn packet of milk?"
"Excuse me? First you take the milk I bought and then you disrespect me? Are you for real Mister?" I twisted his ears and pulled him out of the room.
"Ahhh you witch leave me... Ahh Jaanvi!" He hissed."Go and buy the milk—" I stopped as I finally noticed some pair of eyes on us.
"What on earth" Alex and Hailey spoke with their wide eyes. Aiden and Katherine were looking too shocked to speak anything.
I left his ears and blushed because of embarrassment. "Wow! I never knew someone holds this much power over this cold hearted rude jerk" Aiden finally said.
"I—I Ac-Actually he drank the milk I bought so I was telling him to g-go and buy it" I said and side glared Haarsh.
"I am going nowhere?" He shrugged and tried to pass by my side but I poked my leg and he feel on floor again.
"I swear to god Jaanvi you are dead today"
My eyes widen and I ran outside. "Haarsh no stop! Don't you dare do anything! .... Look buddy it's your fault ok"
I was running around the sofa and he was following me. I tried to get away from him but he pulled my wrist and I landed on his chest.
"Oh my god ... Oh my god!" I heard someone saying but everything was blurry and silent around me the moment he embraced me.
His hands removed hair string from my face and looked into my eyes. Our face was so close, I felt his breathe on my lips.
"Hold up bitches get me popcorn!"
"My fault? How?" His raspy voice came. I tried to get away from him but he pulled my by grabbing my waist.
"Aren't they cute?"
"The hell... He have a girlfriend, the fuck is he doing?"
This time I came out of trance and pushed him. The words made me come in reality, I can't have those feelings back for him when he is dating someone else.
"You drank the milk I bought for my Strawberry shake, I badly wanted it!" I slapped on his chest. He still didn't stopped looking at me. "Shut up you jerk! Go and buy milk for me right now"
"Fine I will" He sighed and looked at his friends, "Uh... You guys wait" He said and went out.
"Ummm.... Did you guys had breakfast? Do you want to have something—?" I asked breaking the awkward ice.
"Yes I want to have pancakes—!" Alex said but before he can speak further Hailey and Aiden put palm on his mouth to stop him speaking.
"We are good" Aiden smiled. I chuckled, "It's fine I'll make some pancakes for him, what about you all??"
"Jaanvi we are fine" Hailey smiled. I gave them smile and went inside the kitchen and started making breakfast when I felt someone's presence beside me.
"Hey!" I heard Katherine, she smiled. "Hey, you need something?" I asked. "Uh yeah I wanted water, don't worry I got it"
I again indulged into making pancakes, "Uhh Jaanvi, I .... Um want to tell you something" she stuttered.
"Yes?" I said. She is a nice woman obviously, no wonder she is Haarsh's girlfriend. But I am still I can't help but feel jealousy inside me when I look at her.
And one question I ask again and again I look at her is Why not me?
"Actually Jaanvi—"
"Kat! come I have show you something" Alex dragged her before she can say anything. She looked at me helplessly one last time.
What does she wants to tell me?
"Here's the milk Ma'am" Haarsh stood in front of me. He put it on the kitchen counter and turned to look his friends.
"I regret telling you the password" He smacked Alex with pillow. The pancake was ready so I gave some to Alex and about to go inside my room with my breakfast.
"Where are you going?" Haarsh asked. "In room" I replied.
"Come sit with me— us" He bite his lips, looking like a innocent child asking for choclate.
I wish I could but I won't be able to look at him and Katherine together. I want to ignore them as much as I can because it hurts.
"Uh... I can't Haarsh, I am in a bit hurry now" I said. His face instantly fell, "Oh...um where are Y-You going?" He asked.
"I have to go and meet samarth today" I said and barged inside my room without looking back.
