Chapter 17 - It's the best

They were all back from hunting. Except for Myles, Clarke and Finn.

Moments after Raven left Bellamy's tent, Monty and Octavia came up to me.

,,We're going to look for them, you're coming with us, aren't you? Then we can talk Bellamy into it if you're on our side." Octavia said and I rolled my eyes in my head at the mention of his name.

,,Of course." I said and took my gun.

I walked into Bellamy's tent and kicked him in the leg.

,,Get up, get your gun. We're going to look for them." I said emotionlessly.

,,Why so rude, Kane?" He asked with a hint of humor in his voice.

,,At the gate in five minutes." I said and he looked at my behavior confused.

I left his tent. And Octavia looked at me with a strange look.

,,What's going on, Katarina? You don't usually act like this." Octavia said.

,,Ask your brother." I said and she rolled her eyes.

,,As always. Did that idiot do something again?" She asked.

,,I'm here. And I took Raven too." Bellamy said and I rolled my eyes.

A lot of people would tell me I'm overdoing it, and I realize that. But I have been watching his behavior on earth for too long.

"We will split into pairs. Octavia and I will go north." I said and we left.

,,What's going on between you and my brother, Kath?" She asked.

,,Guess for yourself." I said and quickened my pace.

,,Do you mind Raven?" Octavia asked me.

But she knew the answer.

,,She and my brother had something between them, and for some reason it bothers you..." She read my mind, like really, she knew the answer immediately.

,,You realized it. Those feelings. But he couldn't admit it." She told me in the realization.

,,I don't care, Love is weakness." I told her.

,,No, Love will make you stronger." Octavia said and I shook my head.

,,I loved, but they didn't. I have made this mistake several times in my life. The only thing it taught me was that Love is weakness. " I said and Monty's voice came over the radio.

,,Guys, where are you?" Monty called from the walkie-talkie. And they started arguing with Bellamy there.

,,Stop arguing." I said into the walkie-talkie.

Suddenly we bump into Raven and Bellamy. Someone was lying in the bushes.

Octavia ran there, revealing Myles.

"You're going to get the stretcher." Bellamy said to Raven.

,,Grounders..." Myles whispered.

We were at the Camp, but Monty didn't come back with us... He got lost.

I went to the Dropship with Jasper. Where was Bellamy.

,,You think I don't want to go look for them?" Bellamy asked, starting an argument with Jasper.

I went to the upper floor where the weapons were. Only trusted delinquents had guns, others didn't have them just to be safe.

I took one in my hand. Bellamy kept his here since we had the ammo. But everyone used the bigger ones, they felt safer. I took the little one that Bellamy used to have. I put bullets in it.
