It's been a while. I did promise every weekend I'll update but haven't gotten to come around that. Sincere apologies for that. This chapter is rated M but I haven't gone into the literal details of the scene. Anyways, Happy Reading and do stream One of the Girls.
_______________________________________A couple of weeks later Jennie rolled over and smiled in delight when she realized what today was. She was finally twenty weeks pregnant and she was finally able to find out what the sex of the baby was. She had been dying to find out, having decided that for her first child she wanted to find out what it was. It would help with the planning and decorating part of preparing for the baby. Once she was up and dressed, she quickly ran downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal.
"So you're excited about today?" Chaerin asked. "You have no idea. I can't wait to know what I'm carrying. A little boy or a girl. I honestly don't care as long as it's healthy." Jennie told her and Chaerin smiled in response.
Over the past several weeks she had watched her daughter mature and grow into a beautiful woman. As bad as the timing was, getting pregnant was good for Jennie. She was a better person than she was before and Chaerin was pleased to see that.
"So have you given any more thought to the pageant? There is no rules saying you can't enter." Chaerin asked.
"A little bit. I wanted to enter so bad, but I don't really want all those eyes on me. I'll be like six months pregnant when that happens. I'll be a lot bigger than I am right now." Jennie spoke uncertainly.
"It's entirely up to you. You have one more week to decide." Chaerin told her as Lisa's car honked from outside.
"Alright, but I have to go. You're coming to the appointment with me right?" Jennie asked.
"Of course, why can't Lisa come again?" Chaerin asked.
"She has a very important calculus exam during my appointment. I'll come back at lunch and tell her all about it" Jennie explained as she picked up her bag and got ready to go.
"Yes, I suppose it's good that she's not missing it." Chaerin murmured.
"She wants nothing more than to be there for it. But she can't fail this class or everything she's working for goes up in smoke. I really don't want that to happen, so I've spent the past several days assuring her that it's fine." Jennie explained again.
"That's good. So are you staying with Lisa tonight, or can I expect you for dinner?" Chaerin asked and Jennie shifted from foot to foot. Lisa was waiting outside for her but sometimes her mom just couldn't stop talking.
"I'm staying at Lisa's, mainly because her mom never did leave. She's leaving next week. She decided she would give Lisa a little while longer to change her mind about me, which she never did. She's leaving Tuesday for sure this time. But we also need the alone time." Jennie told her and Chaerin nodded.
"I'm sure you do. It can't be hard being pregnant and not having any alone time with your girlfriend." Chaerin empathized.
"It is but I really have to go." Jennie said slowly backing to the door.
"Of course, I knew that. I'll see you just before third period." Chaerin said remembering that her daughter had to get to school. Jennie laughed and rushed from the house, waving when she saw her girlfriend sitting in her baby blue Camaro.

"You're going to text me the moment you find out what it is, right?" Lisa asked when they walked onto the quad before the bell rang that morning.
"Yes, I promise. So do you have any preferences?" Jennie asked as they sat down to a making out Jisoo and Rosé.
"Preferences? About what?" Rosé asked breaking away from a very insistent Jisoo.
