I know I said that I’ll update every weekend but I just thought of updating on our girls’ 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Happy Anniversary to the loves of my life and their lovely blinks. Looking forward to what year 7 bring for us.
Here's a link to an edit that I made for the girls(although they won’t see it lol) to commemorate their 7 years. Hope you guys enjoy it. This song pretty much sums up how I feel about Blackpink: I was Enchanted to meet you. 🖤🩷

Back to business, I hope you enjoy the chapter. And as always let me know what you think.
---------------------------------------------------------
Early the next morning Jennie woke up and dressed. She threw her hair back in a ponytail and didn’t bother with makeup. No one would except her to look like a runway model after the few days she just had.
“Are you ready for school?” Chaerin asked as Jennie emerged and sat down at the table to eat the breakfast her mom had prepared for her. She happily ate the eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast her mom made her.
“Yeah. Can you drive me? I don’t feel up for driving yet. It’s hard to drive one handed and I’m in quite a bit of pain.” She asked her mom.
“Jisoo is picking you up. She called a little while ago and offered. You know we do have some painkillers that won’t hurt the baby. The doctors and your father said they would be fine for you to take, if you want them.” Chaerin reminded her.
“I know, but I don’t want them. I don’t want to take anything if I don’t have to. It’s not that I don’t trust the doctors, it’s just that I hate the idea of taking anything that could possibly hurt my baby. It’s ridiculous, I know.” Jennie confessed.
“It’s not ridiculous my dear. You’re protecting your baby. I sprained my wrist when I was pregnant with you and I didn’t take anything either. Granted, your injuries are far more substantial than mine were.” Chaerin told her and Jennie smiled in response.
“So you sort of know how I feel?” Jennie asked.
“Yes, I understand you not wanting to drug the baby.” Chaerin agreed. Jennie nodded and went back to her breakfast, waiting for Jisoo to pick her up. She knew that Jisoo would want to stop by the hospital first thing in the morning.
Once Jisoo showed up she walked up to the door and took Jennie’s backpack from her mom.
“I can carry that on my other side.” Jennie told her as they walked out to the black Charger.
“This is one of the only times you can legitimately get people to do things for you. Just enjoy it.” She told her and Jennie smiled.
“But what if I get used to it?” She asked.
“If you do, you’ll be very disappointed. I will not be your personal bag carrier forever you know. I won’t even carry my own girlfriend’s bags.” She said and Jennie laughed.
“Well lucky me.” Jennie laughed.
“Yes, it’s only because you’re my best friends girlfriend and you’re carrying her baby. She would be pissed if I didn’t help you out. So do you want to go see her this morning before school?” Jisoo asked. Jennie nodded and Jisoo got in the other side after depositing her bag in the backseat. Once she was in she started the car and made the drive to the hospital.
“I thought you were going back to school today?” Jiyong asked when he saw Jennie and Jisoo walk through the automatic doors.
“I am, we just thought we’d stop in and see Lisa before we go.” Jennie told him.
“Okay. So she was just examined and everything is looking good. Her bones are healing properly and her bruises are fading. Her brain activity and whatnot are all fine, all she needs to do is wake up.” Jiyong told her and she smiled brightly.
“Thank God. So do you have any ideas when she’s going to wake up?” She asked.
“It could literally be anytime.” Jiyong shrugged.
“What happens when she wakes up?” Jennie asked wanting to be prepared.
“She’ll stay in the hospital for a couple more days probably so we can make sure she’s fine. Then it’s just the regular recovery. She’ll probably be on crutches for a little while due to her leg and her arm will be in a sling. She’ll have some pretty intense physio. But aside from that once she’s able to walk she’ll be able to leave. If her ribs bother her too much to leave then she’ll stay. She has to be able to walk at least a little bit before we’ll even consider letting her leave.” Jiyong explained.
“But it seems like she’s going to make a full recovery, Doctor Kim?” Jisoo asked.
“From what we can see right now, yes. There never are any guarantees in medicine, but right now all signs point to a full recovery.” Jiyong answered her.
“That’s excellent news, but we should get up there. Wouldn’t want to be late for school.” Jisoo said. Jiyong smiled and nodded at them before walking in the opposite direction as Jennie and Jisoo.
Kai was just leaving when Jennie and Jisoo got there.
“So you’re coming back to school today?” Kai asked her awkwardly.
“Yeah. I just wanted to see her before I went there.” She answered.
“Uh, I just want to apologize to you for never being pleasant about your relationship with my sister. Hating the two of you for you not being with me isn’t worth it anymore. I can’t hate her anymore.” Kai admitted.
“It’s okay Kai.” Jennie told him.
“She’ll never forgive me. What if she never wakes up?” He asked and Jennie swore she could see tears in the younger Manoban’s eyes.
“She’s going to wake up and she’s going to make a full recovery.” Jennie promised.
“How do you know?” He asked.
“I talked to my dad and right now they see no reason why she won’t. You’ll have your chance to talk to her.” Jennie told him and Kai smiled.
“I guess I’ll see you at school.” He said.
“We’ll be there shortly.” Jennie promised as Kai slipped past her and Jennie walked over to the bed where Jisoo was standing talking to her friend. She placed another pile of homework on the side table where the other one’s were sitting.
Jennie leaned down and kissed Lisa’s forehead.
“I love you. Ella and I miss you, come back to us.” She whispered.
“Ella?” Jisoo asked.
“You’re the only other one who knows. The baby’s name is going to be Isabella Hope.” Jennie told her.
“That’s perfect. Rosie will love that name too.” Jisoo said grinning.
“No one else can know until she’s born.” Jennie dictated and Jisoo promised not to tell anyone including her girlfriend. Jennie leaned down and kissed Lisa once more before her and Jisoo left promising to come back after school.

Jisoo grabbed Jennie’s backpack again once they got to school.
“Are you going to escort me to all my classes too so I never have to carry my backpack?” Jennie teased.
“Actually yes I am. I except no arguing from you.” Jisoo told her as they found Rosé sitting at their table. Jisoo leaned down and pecked her lips and Rosé stood up to hug Jennie without disrupting her shoulder.
“I’m so happy you’re okay. I should have come by and seen you. I’m such a horrible friend.” She said into Jennie’s hair.
“It’s okay, I was at the hospital pretty much the entire time I was gone.” Jennie told her.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
“I’ll be fine. I’m just waiting on Lisa now.” Jennie told her. When Rosé let her go, she sat down beside her on the bench.
While the three of them were sitting there waiting for the bell to ring Hanbin and Sunmi walked by hand in hand.
“How’s Lisa?” Hanbin asked and Jisoo turned to stare at him.
“Why do you care?” Jisoo demanded.
“Just wanted to make sure you knew that if she doesn’t recover I’m taking over. It’s not her school anymore, it’s mine.”Hanbin said.
“Well that’s really too bad for you. She’s going to be fine. She’s going to wake up soon and then she’ll come back to school.” Jisoo muttered.
“It’s not going to matter.” Hanbin muttered.
“Oh and I will be going to visit her today after school. I’m going during visiting hours so you can’t stop me.” Sunmi told Jennie and she rolled her eyes.
“I don’t care. Go and see her all you want but just know pregnant or not I will kick your ass if you ever kiss my girlfriend again.” Jennie warned her.
“But you are pregnant so you won’t be able to. Wouldn’t want to risk your darling little girl.” She laughed.
“Well then I’ll kick your ass for her.” Rosé interjected.
“I’d like to see you try.” Sunmi hissed as she and Hanbin walked away.
“God I hate those two. I just want to hit them both.” Jennie muttered.
“Easy there slugger. Keep the beating to me.” Rosé told her laughing.

“Daughter , you have to wake up soon. You’re really starting to worry everyone.” Marco told his daughter . As excepted there was no response.
“I called your mom. She’s on her way back from Italy. She left yesterday. She sounded genuinely worried which is something I haven’t heard from her in a long time. She seems to be changing, so maybe when she comes you’ll wake up so you can see for yourself. I want nothing more than for my family to be intact again.” He whispered.
“Can I get you anything Mr. Manoban?” Jiyong asked in the doorway.
“No thank you Doctor. So any news on my daughter ?” He asked.
“Like I told my daughter this morning, she’s going to be fine. She just has to wake up on her own terms. I wouldn’t say that about anyone else, but this is Lisa. She’s always beating the odds in my mind.” Jiyong told him.
“My daughter is very stubborn.” Marco laughed. The two men heard heels clacking on the floor down the hall and turned to see Chitthip barge through the door, teetering on three inch heels. She appeared to be wearing no makeup and for the first time in a very long time her hair was done up a messy ponytail. It looked like she’d come straight from the airport and didn’t stop to look in the mirror.
“My girl.” She whispered rushing over to the hospital bed and plopped down on the chair.
“She’s going to be fine Chitthip.” Marco assured her.
“What if she’s not Marco? What if she dies thinking that I hate her? What if she dies thinking that I don’t care what she wants? I need to be able to tell her that if she wants to stay here and make a family with Jennie then that’s fine by me. I’d rather have her alive and happy than miserable with me. I’ve made so many mistakes Marco.” She cried.
“The good thing about recognizing that is that you have a chance to fix it.” Marco told her.
“How can I fix it?” She asked.
“You have to give them time and it would help if you tried to be polite to Jennie. I don’t care that you’re not overly fond of her, you have to try for your daughter . You’ll find that Jennie is an exceptional young woman. You’ll see how much Lisa loves her and how she sounds when Lisa mentions her.” Marco told his wife.
“I’ve made so many mistakes.” She said leaning down and kissing Lisa’s forehead.
“Just calm down and sit there and hold her hand. It’s all going to be okay.” He told her.
“I haven’t slept since you called me.” She admitted.
“I honestly didn’t know if you were going to come. You’ve never been more selfish than you have been the past little while. But we have to be on the same side at least until Lisa is fine again.” Marco decided. Far too much had happened for him to just love his wife again.
“I know.” She whispered and clutched Lisa’s hand harder.
When lunch time came around Kai walked into the room, having left school early. He just needed to see his sister and his dad had texted him telling him that his mom had shown up.
“Hi mom.” Kai said. Chitthip got up and hugged her son tightly. Kai wasn’t exactly accustomed to that behaviour from his mom so he just awkwardly hugged her back.
“Shouldn’t you be in school?” She asked.
“I left early. I needed to be here.” He said.
“I guess missing half of a day isn’t going to be the end of the world.” Marco obliged. Kai nodded and unwound himself from his mom.
“Maybe we should go get some lunch Chitthip, Kai will stay with Lisa.” Marco suggested.
“Alright, I am hungry.” Chitthip agreed kissing Lisa’s hand and following her husband out of the room. Once his parents were gone Kai sat down and leaned forward. He had some things he needed to say to his sister and he couldn’t wait any longer.
“Hey, I’ve been here a lot lately but I haven’t actually spoken much. I didn’t know what to say to you when I was pretty sure you thought I hated you. I think I did for a while, or at least I tried to. I felt that you stole something from me but it took a while to realize that I never really had her. She never was mine. She was always yours and I understand that. Maybe things could have been different if I had went for what I wanted before you got into the picture, but then probably not. She probably would have met you and recognized you as her other half. It was better this way. It would have hurt a lot more for her to leave me for you when we were together. I’m sorry, I’m sure you have no idea why I’m telling you that, but it has a point I promise. Lisa you’re my sister. You’ve had my back since we were little. Remember that time that I broke that vase of moms that she got from Italy. I was five and you were six. You took the blame for it because you knew she wouldn’t get as mad at you, as she would have at me. Or the time that I kicked the soccer ball into mom roses and trampled them all. You’ve had my back so many times but I’ve never had yours. I should have just accepted the fact that you loved her and she loved you. We would still be the kind of siblings we used to be if I had. You would still have my back. Remember all the times we used to sneak out in the middle of the night and camp out in the backyard with only sleeping bags. We stopped doing that the one time we got rained on. We were soaked when we got back to the house and dad was sitting in his chair waiting for us. We didn’t get punished because he figured the freezing rain was enough. We used to have so much fun together and I promise when you wake up I’m going to try harder. I miss hanging out with you. So I just want to say I’m sorry sis. I’m sorry for hating you. I love you, you’re my sister. You have to wake up, there are so many people that need you. The world just doesn’t seem to be as bright when you’re in here.” Kai said, clasping his sister’s hand tightly. After he was done with his speech he sat back in the chair not sure what else to say.
“Why are you holding my hand?” Lisa’s raspy voice sounded through the room. Kai jerked and looked down as he saw his sister’s eyes open slightly. They were still mostly closed but she was conscious.
“Oh my God you’re awake. I have to call the doctor and mom and dad.” He said jumping up.
“Wait just a second. I have to tell you something first.” Lisa tried to call to him. Hearing her voice he sat back down.
“I never hated you and I miss hanging out with you too. We used to have a lot of fun and we used to be best friends. But I never should have went after Jennie knowing you liked her. I was an asshole, but she makes me happy and I love her more than anything. I’m sorry for hurting you to get her.” Lisa apologized.
“Things will be better now. I have to call the doctor.” Kai said pressing the button by Lisa’s bed.
“How is Jen?” Lisa asked but Kai was ignoring her as he grabbed his phone from his backpack and texted his mom and dad who were down in the cafeteria.
Moment’s later Marco and Chitthip rushed through the door with Jiyong following directly behind them.
“Welcome back Lisa.” He said as he checked her vitals.
“Jennie and the baby?” She asked. She was remembering more and more about the accident.
“She’s fine. She’s at school right now. She broke her arm and dislocated her shoulder. But aside from that only very minor bumps and bruises. The baby is also fine. Nothing wrong there at all.” He told her knowing hearing she was fine would calm her down.
“What about me?” She asked.
“You’re healing nicely. You might be able to go home earlier than we thought. You’ll just have to take a few steps for us first. That’s more a test for your ribs than it is for your legs. Your ribs are the more concerning of your injuries. But they seem to be healing just fine.” Jiyong told her.
“Can I sit up?” Lisa asked.
“Just have some water first and then we’ll revisit. Drink something it’ll help your throat.” Jiyong said and Lisa nodded as a nurse handed her some water.
“Did you consider calling Jennie?” Marco asked Kai.
“I’m sorry I never thought about it.” He gasped picking up his phone quickly and calling Jennie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“She’s awake! Jisoo she’s awake.” Jennie cheered as she and Jisoo were walking to her next class. Jisoo had been carrying her bag to all of her classes before rushing off to her own.
“Let’s get out of here.” Jisoo decided as they turned directions and walked to the entrance.
“Where are you two going?” Woobin asked them with his hands on his hips. He didn’t look upset, just curious.
“Lisa’s awake. Kai just called me.” Jennie told him a wide smile on her face.
“Well then you two better get out of here. I’ll tell Rosé where you two are just in case she looks for you.” He said leaning down and hugging Jennie. She hugged him back before releasing him and rushing from the school.
When they got to the hospital, they rushed to the elevator to Lisa’s floor.
“Are you okay?” Jisoo asked.
“I’ll be fine.” She said as they rushed down the hall as fast as they could. When they barged into the room Jiyong had Lisa sitting up on the bed. She stopped immediately as tears once again filled her eyes but this time they were for an entirely different reason.
“Hey you’re back. Welcome back.” Jisoo said walking over and giving Lisa an actual hug. Any other time the two friends had hugged it had been one of those one armed hugs but this was a real one.
“I’m glad to be back. You take care of my girl?” Lisa asked.
“I tried. She’s strong on her own. School’s not the same without you. I’ve been bringing your homework for the past few days.” Jisoo said.
“I saw that. Thanks a lot.” She said hugging Jisoo once more. Jiyong left Lisa sitting there as he walked over to his daughter who seemed frozen against the door.
“Sweetheart, she’s awake.” He told her grasping her good shoulder.
“I know I just can’t seem to move.” She whispered.
“Well go over and see her. She’s been asking for you.” He told her and she nodded willing her legs to move forward. When she got close enough to her, Lisa took Jennie in her arms as Jennie carefully leaned into her.
“I’ve been so worried.” She whispered.
“I’m here now.” Lisa told her kissing the top of her head.
“I love you so much. Don’t ever leave me again.” She told Lisa wrapping her good arm tighter around her but not too tight to hurt her bandaged ribs.
“Let’s just give them a minute.” Jiyong suggested and everyone quietly left the room.
“I’m so sorry for the fight we had. I won’t work anymore, you’re right. It’s too much stress.” She told Lisa.
“I shouldn’t have tried telling you what to do. It wasn’t right. In the end it’s your decision, not mine. I just worry about you so much.” Lisa told her.
“I love you and I don’t want to work anymore. You were right the whole time, it’s just too stressful.” She told her.
“Hey, it’s okay. Whether you work or not we’ll get through it. But I love you and you love me, and it’s been numerous days since I last kissed you.” Lisa hinted and she smiled briefly. Jennie pulled away so she could look in her eyes.
“For the past few days, kissing you has been all I’ve been thinking about. I even had this silly childhood delusion that kissing you would wake you up.” She told Lisa.
“I felt that kiss. I also felt another kiss that didn’t quite feel right.” Lisa mentioned.
“That would be Sunmi.” Jennie muttered, irritated that she felt the kiss.
“That would explain it. Now kiss me.” Lisa told her and she happily obliged, pressing her lips tenderly against her.
