I woke up besides Kevin. He looked so angelic. I got out of bed slowly removing Kevin who was on top of me. I go downstairs and start making breakfast.
As I was finishing the pancakes I felt strong arms from behind me."Good morning amor"Kevin kissed my cheek."Buenos días chulo." I said as I put two pancakes on a plate.
"Eat up Kev, you have practice"I said as i pushed his plate towards him. He ate without talking. "Are you okay Kevin?"I asked him grabbing his hand."Melissa my mom is coming to town. She's gonna stay over for three days"He smiled big."Im glad to hear that" i smiled back. "Maybe you can meet her"his eyes brighten up."I don't think thats a good idea" i said avoiding eye contact."What why"he made a confused face."What if she doesn't like me?What if she doesn't approve of us ?"I started panicking."everything will be fine chicki. Im so so so sure that she's gonna love you"he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

Kevin went to practice so I was alone in his house. I decided to go to the store and buy his mom flowers and chocolates.
I went to the flower shop and picked the most beautiful flowers I could find. I got a box of milk chocolates shaped in hearts.
I also went to the store to get some ingredients for pasta verde(my favv😍).
I tried getting home early so I could have time to get ready and cook. I took a quick shower and put on some clothes that I had in Kevin's house. I went for a light makeup look.
Once I was done I started cooking as I played 'me matas' by eslabon armado. "Esque la neta me encantas de pies a cabeza me matas conquistas con tu mirada" i sang. This song will FOREVER remind me of Kevin's big booty self.
As I waited for Kevin to get home I had a brilliant idea. Decorate a little bit and clean. Kevin had a mess in his house. I cleaned the guest room and had a little bag filled with skincare,perfumes,makeup and all that stuff.
I also put candles in the kitchen and in the dining table. I put the flowers that I bought in a vase and the chocolates to the side of the flowers. I also went ahead and put a teddy bear.

I was watching tv when I heard the door open."wowwwww"he dropped his bag and looked around the house."Its so clean and welcoming "he said as he made eye contact with me."what can i say. I wanna look representable for mi suegra" I said as I winked at him.
Kevin went to go take a shower since of course he came from practice. He came downstairs and DAMNNNN. Im lucky af. "Staring a little to long don't you think"he laughed. I looked away as I turned red."When is your mom getting here"I asked him."She texted me saying like in 30 minutes" he looked at his phone.
My heart was racing. I could feel my palms sweating. My thoughts took over my head."Earth to melissaaaa"said Kevin as he waved his hand on my face. "Sorry"i said."What's wrong babe"he asked holding my waist."Chiki ya te dije she's gonna like you"he gave me a peck on the cheek.
Thirty minutes passed by and Kevin's mom was only five minutes away. I made sure the food taste good. I rushed to the restroom to fix up my hair and makeup. I fixed some decorations.
I heard a knock on the door and Kevin went to go open it."mamiiii"Kevin jumped up and down hugging her. I smiled. He's such a mommy's boy."Hi amor"she said hugging him back."You must be Melissa"she opened up her arms."Yes that's me"I said as I hugged her."Oh you're so so beautiful "she smiled at me."Not as beautiful as you"I returned a smile.
We were eating the green pasta."oh my god this is so good who cooked it."Kevin's mom asked."wait thats a dumb question Kevin doesn't cook for shit"she laughed. I started laughing while Kevin gave me the biggest side eye ever.
We finished eating. I got to know her more. She was so sweet and funny. "Well I have to get going. It was nice meeting you Ms.Alvarez"I got up and gave her a hug. "It was nice meeting you too mija"she returned the hug.

As Melissa sadly left to her house. It was quiet until my mom spoke up. "She's such a sweet girl"she said. I smiled. I knew she was gonna like her."You better treat her right Kevin."she rolled her eyes at me."and she's way better than Camila. Ay dios mio como que cai mal esa chamaca"she shook her head.
"Tell her to come tomorrow with her mom.I wanna meet her"my mom said smiling."Yes ma'am "I chuckled.
