the blonde girl paced back and forth in the living room, anxiously waiting as Tara and Sam were heading out to the police station. "Abby, you need to calm down.", Ethan told the older girl who wouldn't stop wandering around.
"calm down? how the hell am i supposed to calm down when i know there's a fucking killer out there again, trying to kill the one person i care about?!", Abby rambled, fuming as she looked at the younger boy beside Kyla whose eyes widened in amusement.
"sorry...", Ethan mumbled, looking down at his hands.
Abby let out a deep exhale, checking her phone for the hundredth time in the last five minutes. "i'm gonna go call her."
"Bee, they just left five minutes ago.", Kyla told her.
"yeah, and so many shit can go down in five minutes, i'm telling you.", Abby reasoned, sighing as she put away her phone. "i'm gonna go use the bathroom."
"okay.", Kyla responded, watching Abby walk into the bathroom, her dark eyes showing concern for her only sibling figure.
when the door was locked, Abby leaned against the sink, hands gripping tightly on the counter as she looked into the mirror.
why does this shit always have to happen to me?
"cause of me."
Abby jumped out of fear and surprise seeing her dad's image appear on the mirror. "fuck! don't scare me like that, dad." "yeah, sorry about that."
"i'm so scared.", Abby admitted quietly, her voice shaking as tears filled her eyes. in the mirror, she could see Stu reach up and place a hand on her shoulder. right then, she couldn't feel her dad's hand on her, but she knew he was there for her.
Stu replied, his voice showing how fearless he was, "don't. the more vulnerable you are, the easier it is for them to get you." "i just don't want to lose any of my friends again."
"i know, kid. i know."
"i saw Olivia Morris being gutted; i was almost killed by Jill - a girl who i trusted; i thought i lost Kirby that night; my own mother was killed because she was trying to save my brother who also ended up dead. you don't know the shit i'm going through."
"oh yeah? well, guess what, smartass - you keep crying and cowering like that, you will end up dead. now, you pick up that knife, find out who's behind all this and gut their fucking inside out!"
"what made you do all that? why did you kill all those innocent lives?", Abby questioned, softening her voice so the others outside wouldn't hear her.
Stu stayed silent but shrugged his shoulders, brushing off the questioned. Abby knew her father was pretty much a psychopath, she knew he had not motive to his killing like the other ghostface killers.
