"Abby!", Kyla called from the van as she watched the blonde girl run out in panic. the black haired girl jumped up to her feet, only to get held back by Kirby. "Kirby, let go of me!" "Kai, we need to stay together. Bailey's got them."

"yeah, and guess what? the cops always end up dead! i'm going after them and you can't stop me.", Kyla said and turned to the van's back doors. with a click, she turned to Ethan and the twins, "you coming or not?"

"let's go catch this fucker!", Chad beamed, standing up and helping Kyla push the doors open. the four teenagers jumped out and started running out of the area, Kirby watching them from the van. "kids these days."

Abby ran ahead of the Carpenter sisters, bolting out the elevator as soon as it opened. turning into the living area, she saw ghostface hovering over Gale, trying to push down a knife towards Gale's face which Gale held back. "hey, fuckface!", Abby called, anger boiling in her blood as she picked up the gun from the floor and started shooting at the killer. ghostface ran towards the exit, dodging the bullets being shot towards them. the three girls followed the killer towards the emergency staircase exit, but found nobody there anymore. "Gale!", Abby exhaled as she ran towards her godmother with Tara next to her. she knelt next to Gale who was slowly losing her consciousness. "Gale? Gale!", Abby kept calling. Sam pressed on Gale's stab wound in attempt to stop the bleeding. "sorry, i'm sorry. i should've known that he was gonna come after you. i'm so sorry.", the brunette repeatedly apologized, looking down at Gale.

"he didn't get me.", Gale whispered. "tell Sidney, he never got me."

Gale's eyes fluttered close, making Abby panic. "Gale? Gale!"

"Gale!", the three girls kept trying to wake the woman up but she didn't respond. tears stung in Abby's eyes, holding on her godmother's body. she couldn't lose Gale, she couldn't lose another person she loved, one that practically raised her.

she already lost Dewey, she couldn't lose Gale too.

"Gale, please.", Abby cried, teardrops trickling on her cheeks.

the paramedics came rushing in, "out of the way!"

Abby sobbed, holding on Gale while Tara and Sam tried to pull her away. "no! no!", Abby sobbed, reaching for Gale as she was pulled away. "please! no!"

"got a weak pulse, get the backboard. we need to move now.". the paramedic said. Sam wrapped her arms around Abby comfortingly, caressing her shoulder, "she'll be okay."
