'We are gay'

The three boys fell silent staring back ar aubrey before looking at one another akwardly.

'We are gay.' Kel blurted out suddenly.

'And? You think i care? Im gay too yknow. You cant just ditch me!' Tears pricked in the corners of her eyes.

'Aubrey... uhm... sunny kel and i.... were-' basil was cut of by sunny finnishing the sentnce

'Boyfriends.' Sunny had grabbed both kel and basils hands and basil reached a hand to meet with kels lockong their fingers together.

'What. Since when?' She demanded.

'Since a week ago..' sunny said.

'Only hero knows about us.' Kel stated confidently.

'Uhm mari might... well she knows i like the two of you. I wanted advise on how to ask you guys out.'

'So im the last to know?' Aubrey asked.

'Aubrey. Its been a week.' Sunny sighed.

Her expression softened. 'Sorry. Its just recently the three of you have just seemed close and ive been feeling left behind. Like im no longer welcomed in the friend group.'

'Thats not true at all!' Kel gasped. 

'Yeah youre our friend! We arent going just ditch you.' Basil reasured her.

'We arent looking for a fourth though so in that sence i guess we are.' Sunny joked.

'Good. I dont like you guys like that.' Aubrey gave them a teasing grin. 'So... uh... enjoy your date i guess.' She said before walking off.

They turned back to their pizza biting into their slices. 'Hey basil, you bring your camera with you everywhere right? You should take a photo of us all!' Kel suggested with his mouth full spitting bits of pizza as he spoke.

'Eww! kel!' Sunny complained grabbing a napkin to wipe some half chewwed pizza kel had somehow spat on sunny. 'Dont talk with your mouth full.'

'Oop my bad.' Kel grabbed another napkin and leaned across the table to help sunny clean up. Basil grabbed out his camera and took a photo of them while they were distracted, and slid the photo into his pocket.

Once theyd finnished drowning sunny in napkins the three boys squished together smiling at the camera basil held out at an arms length before snapping the photo. They looked at the photo. It was great! Kel had a big goofy grin on his face while sunny smiled softly, purple eyes sparkling. Basil had his tounge poking out the corner of his mouth probably due to concentrating on taking the photo right. It was also difficult as the camera had to be held backwards to take a photo of all three of them together.

'You guys are adorible.' Kel said wraping an arm over their shoulders.

'You are too.' Basil said smiling at him and leaning in to kiss his cheek nervously.

'I love you guys.' Sunny smiled. 'Uhm... if youll excuse me i gotta use the bathroom.' He said before sliding out of the booth and walking off to the bathroom.

Basil put his camera and the photo away before taking another slice of pizza. The last of the vegetable third. And in turn the last of their shared pizza.

'Do you actually enjoy it?' Kel asked sounding genuinly confused.

Basil nodded. 'Vegetable are pretty tasty.'

'I dont really get how anyone can enjoy vegetables... but if you enjoy it thats good i guess.'

As basil finnished his slice of pizza sunny returned from the bathroom.

The three of them smiled at each other before getting up and walking back to kels house. This time kel was in the middle and basil gave him a glance as if asking if they could hold hands to which kels responce was to slide his hand into basils weaving their fingers together.

Kels parents were home once theyd gotten back. 'Hello kel sunny and basil.' They greated.

'Hi.' They responded breifly before heading up to kel and heros shared room. Hero was sitting at a desk doing something on his computer.

Kel flopped on his bed. 'So. What do you guys wanna do now?' He asked.

Basil sat down on the end of his bed and sunny sat next to him. 'Im not sure' sunny murmured.

'We could.... we couls cuddle.' Basil suggested thinging back to how cozy and warm hed felt sandwiched between them.

'Alright.' Kel and sunny aggreed and next thing basil knew was they were all wrapped up in a blanket together hero gazing over at them breifly.

'Aw look at the lovebirds.' Hero teased.

'Not like you and mari are never like this' kel muttered too quiet for hero to hear but definatly loud enough for his partners to hear.

Basil giggled. He could definately imagine mari ans hero blanket burritoing together.

Kel grabbed out his phone and opened youtube so the three of them could watch some silly videos. Basil took another photo while they were too absorbed in their video to notice.

After a few hours they eventually got up and had to go home u fortunately. They hugged one last time and said their goodbyes.
