Cyrus POV:

I walked onward and to the next nearest town knowing very well that the one closest to me was mostly abandoned due to that monster. The town was a great distance away and I knew it would be a tremendous walk. I was buried somewhere near a town that used to exist near the right shoulder of the Titan's body.

I made my way due west of where I was buried. The journey was was long and full of many forests but I rarely rested. The first land mark I found was a sign in the middle of a grove that had a road passing through. The sign read simply Bonesborough 40 miles ahead, that's it the town I was looking for. What told me this was the best place to go I couldn't tell you, it just felt like the right place to go.

I continued on for what must have been at least 20 miles. I made it to another grove that the road passed through before finally my body collapsed on me. I fell forward into a small bed of flowers nearly falling asleep. I could hear the rumble of a cart coming down the road, it sounded a lot of rattling wood.

Suddenly the cart stopped and I heard a voice, "Father I think they need help," a young feminine voice said.

"Yeah looks like your right Gwynevere," I could only assume her father said. "He also has a branch of palestrom wood with him. You grab that and keep it separate from our stock, I'll help him up and into the cart."

"Okay papa," Gwynevere said. I felt the branch leave my hands, before I was hoisted up from my flowery bed and into the back of the cart with their stock of wood.

"Go ahead an rest up we'll be at our place soon and get you some food to help you feel right as rain," The father said, with that I passed out in the cart.

Small time skip

I was stirring back awake thanks to the smell of dinner cooking. Upon opening my eyes again I could make out a head of messy orange hair on a little girl's body. When she turned briefly I could make out eyes of a light green blue color. She was sat next to her father who had fading orang hair with streaks of extra fading here and there and amber colored eyes.

"Okay so you hold it like this?" Gwynevere asked. I was tiring bat to consciousness thanks to the smell of a cooking dinner.

"Yeah you got it no just calmly and smoothly shave a bit off the wood," The father said.

"Like this?" she said and I heard a gentle peel of wood from wood.

"Yeah that's it," he said and there was a small grunt.

I sat up and looked over to them at a work table, the father was hugging the girl proud of her success.  My stomach growled, and broke up the cute moment, "Sorry about that," I apologized.

They both looked at me. "You sound mighty hungry there traveler," the father said as he stood up. "Well it is probably about time we had dinner any way. Gwynevere dear mind fetching the plates while I grab the grub."

"Sure thing Papa," she said standing up and running to grab the dishes.

"So, I'm sure you know my daughters name by now," the father said as he walked over to the fire and pulled off a pot. "As for my self, I am Jacob. Jacob Clawthorne I am the local Palisman carver. So what can I call you?" he placed the pot on the table.

"You can call me Cyrus," I said standing up.

"No surname?" Jacob asked stirring what I imagine was a stew.
