Kin's Gambit (GxG) [COMPLETED]

PROLOGUE

It was past midnight when I was driving home from the party. I left my bodyguards there to have some alone time and celebrate my success peacefully. I turned the radio on and set the volume up while cruising the road. 

Habang sinasabayan ang tugtog ay pinaharurot ko ang aking kotse.

"Woohoooooo" sigaw ko sa tahimik na daan. Who cares? I'm happy-- in fact, this is the first time I felt this after a long time, wala namang dumadaan na mga sasakyan dahil madaling araw na kaya ayos lang sumigaw.

I stepped on the brakes and turned off the engine when I finally arrived at my house. It started raining. Buti nalang nakauwi na ko. I heard the news earlier, ito na ata yung bagyo.

Masaya akong sumisipol sipol habang binabaybay ang hallway ng aking bahay. Dumiretso ako saaking office and took a glass of Martini. I fished out my phone to check some updates. Nakita kong laman ako ng mga balita. That's right pasikatin nyo pa ako.

"You fuckers can't win against me" I chuckled as I took a sip from my drink.

I noticed a small piece of card resting on my table with a gold Queen chess piece above it. 

"Who the fuck placed this here?" I ask myself. I read what was on the card, it says...

'CHECKMATE' 

Huh?

I was about to turn around when a deafening sound was heard inside the room, and before I knew it, there was a gaping hole in my chest quickly filled with blood and gushed out.

I was shot, what the actual fuck?!

Napaluhod ako at dahan dahang sumalampak sa sahig. There's a pool of blood forming around me. Bumibigat na ang mga talukap ng aking mga mata. 

Not now na nagiging maayos na at naisakatuparan ko na ang mga plano ko. Nagsisimula palang ako!

But I can't even move my body. 

Is it already my time? No, not now!

Before I close my eyes I saw a woman watching and pointing a gun at me...

Bloody hell. I cursed as I watch her smiling eerily at me.

..and then, another gunshot was heard.
