My father, Leonardo Kline, is a famous self-made businessman. At only the age of 25, he made millions of dollars by having a button-making business. My father grew up poor, so when he made loads of money, he became obsessed with it. Every minute he spent was just on his business. I grew up, feeling like I never had a father.
But my mother was always there, just there. Eleanora Wright Kline, my birth giver, was born into a wealthy family, but she never looked down on any people even though my grandparents did. She supported my father through his journey to his business and eventually got tired of it. She left.
Luckily, I have my brother. Thaddeus Kline. Elder, but acts and thinks like a child. Thaddeus was a playboy, getting all sorts of girls because of his blonde hair and blue eyes. Also, he has a muscular body. And then, he found 'the one'. Maia Quinn. They are getting married and soon enough, they will have little feet walking around their home.
And here I am, telling the story I have been dreading to voice out for a very long time. I have met the love of my life but I have let her go for some stupid situation. She is the most important person in my life, yet I married someone else for the business to survive. I never thought of it until now, that my brother is getting married. I envy Maia and Thaddy for everything they have for I wish to have life like them.
