Marvin shouted at me from the other side of the car telling me to get in while my brother is doing puppy eyes, I addressed my feelings towards the movies.

"Oh, no, I'm not going, I really don't like movies that much, but my brother will, thanks for the offer though..." I said.

Agathe responded, "That's too bad... See you at school then."

I hate to see her that sad, but I have nothing else to do, she got her little boyfriend. As they started to drive away to the mall, I started to walk home. Looking around, there were autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place just because I saw Agathe that day. Until there was a motorcycle whooshing to my side then stopping just a meter away from me. It was Katharina.

"Need a ride?" She asked.

It was the first time I'd seen Kath's face closer than ever. Gray eyes, olive skin, and a  brunette gal. I was distracted by the sound of her Ducati. And then I asked:

"You're one of Agathe's friends, right?"

"Oh, yes, we haven't formally introduced ourselves, my name's Katharina Taylor, one of Agathe's friends, and I already know who you are, Brahms. Anyway, want to go for a ride?"

I was hesitant about the question. First of all, she was a stranger back then, and second, I don't want to be rude. Katharina's eyes are like a cat's eyes, so I was a bit scared of her.

"Look, Brahmmy, it's also fine if you don't want to come. I'll just go."

I didn't realize I was just staring into thin air when I was making that decision, so in a rush for an answer to say, I said yes.

Katharina gave me her helmet. We drove faster than the wind, passionate as sin. I don't like motorcycles but when Katharina drove it, it was fine by me. It took us almost half an hour just to reach our destination. And as we walked through the falling leaves of maple, I saw a little tree house, built in the tallest tree.

"A treehouse? Are you sure that can handle the two of us?" I asked. At that point, I was determined that I want to just run because a stranger might kill me any moment in the middle of the woods.

"Don't be nervous, I built it, so... Ah, here we are... Welcome to my escape."

She opened the door and I find my foot stuck in one of the stairs. As I struggled to set my foot free, she was opening the huge door leading to a balcony.

"A little help here?"

"Oh, that must be that one loose nail, just-just tilt your foot off."

And I did. It came off pretty easily, and turns out, I'm just a big baby who needs assistance all the time. I've never been alone with someone without a butler or anything, not that my parents want it, it's just kind of there when we need them.

I saw the mountains, covered with fog. Hue of orange in the trees, and chirping birds whenever I look around. Katharina and I sat down and we drank some soft drinks.

"I know this isn't ideal but it's what I have here."

"It's fine, I never got to drink something like this anyway. So, why did you bring me here? I mean, it's still a mystery to me that you just came out of the blue and then asked me for a ride..." I said to Katharina.

"To kill you." She said as my eyes widened. "Calm down, dude, I'm not, I'm kidding. When Aggie told us about you, I was intrigued, because, look, you're one of the richest kids in town, yet, you still chose to study here, so, really. Why? And I don't like movies anyways."

"That's the reason you told me to come with you?" I laughed that almost turned into a cry.

"What? I'm just asking..." Kath said while looking at me with her siren eyes in confusion.

"Wait, you're serious? I mean, you're rich too, why are you studying at Maple Leaf?"

"Dude, really? Don't avoid the question."

"Okay, fine... My mother's living close to the school. My parents are divorced." I said to her.

"Really? Mine too. Well, I guess we have some similarities. Anyway, I studied here because of Maia, she convinced me and I'm very thankful for it. I met my bandmates because of her."

"You're in a band? What song do you always sing?" I asked in awe.

"You think I'm a singer?" She chuckled, "I'm a drummer, sometimes bassist..."

I was very impressed by what she just said for I have never seen a girl who's a drummer and in a band. We talked for hour and hour, until the bright sun that once rose, sets. She offered me a ride and because I know more about her, at that moment I didn't think twice to say 'sure'.

"Just drop me here, I want to walk!" I screamed at her because of the pressure of the wind. "Sure!" Katharina replied.

She dropped me a few seconds later then I started to walk. It was great talking to her, I also know more about Agathe at that time. Her likes, dislikes, favorite music, and many more. Katharina drove away, while I grinned at her side mirror to show her it was a pleasure to meet her. As I walked home, I thought that I should've given up Agathe for Marvin because I thought I had a chance for Katharina.

I opened the door to my room and thought more of it. As I lay down, my eyes drifted away that night, then I fell asleep.
