Melissa and I's big day came, it was November 10th, 2000. I sent Katharina, Regina, Maia, and Agathe an invitation which was Melissa's idea. I told her they might not come to the big day, but she still mailed the invitations.

"It's your big day. I can't believe you're going to be a married man now," Mom said, she was crying a lot.

"Mom, please, don't cry."

"It's happy tears! Don't worry."

I hugged her tight while Dean was waiting outside for her. She walked out while Dad came in with something in his hand. I asked him what he was holding at that time.

"Here you go."

"Dad, you can't give this to me."

"No, no, it's yours now. I promised myself that whomever one of you is going to get married, I will give them this watch."

That watch was my Dad's first possession when he earned his salary at his first job. It may seem small. But, for me, it was a treasure. I'm still wearing it, right now I'm wearing it.

"You know, when your Mom and I got married, I was extremely nervous. But when I saw her walk down the aisle, all my nervousness flew away, just like that. And I did not mind if my friends would laugh at me for crying. Because you know, I swore when we were kids that I wouldn't cry at my wedding. But I did," He said while fixing my suit.

"One day, Brahms, you and Melissa will have a baby."

"Dad!"

"I didn't say now, but you're going to have tiny feet walking around the home you two are going to make. And I want you to understand that once Melissa gives birth, her body will change, her hormones, everything. I want you to know that her body might not be the same as the day you met. I want you to love her no matter what the changes are. Whether it's big or small."

"Yes, Dad. I will love her no matter what. Don't worry."

I saw my father's tears flowing down his eyes. I never saw him cry like this, until that day.

"Okay, remember all the things I said," Dad said while wiping his tears off, "Now go out there to make her the happiest woman!"

As I waited for Melissa to walk down the aisle at the beach, I saw Mathis, Raleigh, Marion, and Thaddeus waiting for me and Dad. I knew precisely that Regina and Katharina were coming. I looked over and saw Kath and Regina waving at me excitedly, and they looked like they were going to cry. Regina signed me some words which translated to "I'm happy for you".  After what just happened to Thaddeus and her, I did not expect Maia to be there, but she was. Maia was smiling at me too.

Everybody settled down as soon they saw Melissa, Mr., and Mrs. Reed standing at the end of the aisle. As I saw Melissa under her veil, I cried like a baby. Slowly, her parents walked her. My heart can't stop its fast beating as she moved closer and closer to me. Then, Claude (Mr. Reed) and Renae (Mrs. Reed) hand me their precious daughter.

"Take care of my little girl...," Claude whispered to me.

We stood there for what felt like a long time. We exchange vows, and Melissa said her first.

"When I was just a little girl, I dreamt of having a handsome husband, and to my surprise, God didn't just give me a handsome husband, but a kind, soft-hearted one. I never thought I would ever encounter a man that was strange as I am and so special. I didn't think a 24-year-old guy would be obsessed with the Harry Potter series just as I am. Oh, Brahms... I can't say anything to you anymore because said those things to you every day. But there is one thing that I want everybody to hear right now, that I love you. No matter what happens, I love you. And I promise to love you, cherish you, make every memory special, and take care of you for as long as I can. And I am thankful for the people who set us up together on our first 'date' that later turned into a wedding."
