MELISSA'S P.O.V

August 26th, 2004

"It'll be alright," I said as I placed my hands on my husband's cheeks. "Time takes time to heal..."

I wanted him to know that I once felt the pain he was in, and for Agathe, I feel what he's feeling. I wanted to tell him that there are storms in our lives that will come, yet it will give you hope to do more in your life. It will give you the desire to live more, to crave the sun. And when the time is right and when you're ready to move forward, the sunshine will show.

He was so miserable, he's my husband, I love him no matter what, and it's my promise to take care of him 'til death do us part.

Brahms was acting strange.

"Agathe..." I heard him while he was sleeping.

I was pissed. I wasn't a Saint just so you know. Why the fuck he would do that? He married me and told me he loves me. I got up and tried to search for Agathe Evans. I started asking questions starting from Maia to Regina.

I called Katharina to her about it.

"There's something you should know, Agathe is Brahms' first love. I heard he was wrecked, we weren't allowed to see him at that time when they broke up," Kath said. "There's an issue about Mr. Kline, having a debt on Regina's family. I think that's the reason why they were separated. Brahms did the big favor Agathe's father wished," she continued. Of course, I knew that Brahms told me the day we met.

I thought they were acting like they don't know where Agathe was. So I went to the Evans mansion. The guard immediately allowed me to go inside. But then something stopped me from outside. I heard her parents fighting inside. Glasses were shattering as I saw from where I was standing.

"... It's your fault why she went away!" I heard her mother.

I quickly went back to my car and drove away. So... She wasn't home. From then on, I knew that Katharina, Maia, and Regina were not telling lies. They genuinely don't know where Agathe is.

Katharina called me saying she might have found Agathe. I flew from Lakesbrough to France where Katharina lives. She showed me some of Agathe's pictures.

"That was two years ago throwbacks," Katharina said. "I can't find more updated ones on her Facebook account."

Agathe looks like she lived to her fullest. She was skydiving, jumping on the lakes, and helping children all over the globe. She is kind and beautiful. No wonder my husband is still saying her name. But we are married so he shouldn't do that.

We finally got an update from Agathe. I flew back to France with Cleo. Katharina called her and said she wanted to meet up. Agathe didn't know that I was with Katharina.

When I saw her... She didn't look like the Agathe I saw on Facebook. She was pale, with skin and bones, her hair was now thin, and her eyes were deep. She was in a wheelchair. This guy named Eris was taking care of her. Before Agathe went inside the restaurant, we saw that Eris was crying and went away. Kath stood up and went outside to help Agathe went inside.

I stood up to greet her and I introduced myself.

"I'm Melissa. Brahms' wife."

"I know, I know, thanks for inviting me to your wedding. It was an honor," she said smiling.
