2 months after Agathe went back, we got closer and closer. The coffee dates turned into movie nights and watching stars. I loved every second we spent time together and every breath I took was special because I'm with her. Time flies by and May is here. On May 12th, I asked her to be my girlfriend. I know it was a bit of a teenage move, but I didn't care, I haven't got the chance to do that to Katharina so I wanted to be better for Agathe.

I bought baby's-breath, her favorite flowers, and chocolate, loads of periwinkle blue balloons, and played her favorite song, Pearly-Dewdrops Drops. It was about seven in the evening. That day, I told her that she should dress up because that night is special.

She showed up with her hair tied in a bun, her dress was as white as snow, and her lips were the color of a rose. When she saw me standing in the middle of my garden, I flashed the question: Will you be my girlfriend?

As she ran, I can see her lips smiling and I can hear her laughing.

"What's all of this?" She said still laughing.

"I'm asking you to be my girlfriend, why?"

"What? Wait, I thought I am your girlfriend? No?" Agathe said, blushing. "This is embarrassing, I thought I was your girlfriend?"

Her hands turned scarlet which covered her reddened face. I held her hand and asked her again while giggling.

"You know it's a yes, Brahms."

I then gave her the flowers I bought for her and pressed my lips against hers. She then smiled against my lips and said the most important eight-lettered word.
