Summer had just ended and it was the start of my Sixth year. It was hard to believe another year had passed by so fast.
I remember my first year as if it was a week ago. Nervously arriving at Hogwarts as a lost eleven year old. It was scary to think I would be attending a school for witchcraft and wizardry. I always knew I was different from other humans, but to find out there was a whole other world was mind blowing. To think I was a witch, it explained everything from my childhood. The random household things that would move without a physical touch or the ability to sense people's emotions. It explained it all.
Hogwarts had become my home in the few years of attending as I didn't have one growing up. My parents died mysteriously when I was seven and I was left in an orphanage; all alone. It was hard, but coming here I found a place that I felt safe; a place I felt happy.
A place with them.
On my first day I met two students: Sebastian and Ominis. We were placed in the same house; Slytherin. We quickly became close friends. They were the closest thing to what I could call family. The only ones I could call family along with Sebastian's sister Anne. Who sadly was placed in Hufflepuff.
The years flew by and I found myself so close to the trio that I couldn't imagine my life without them. I couldn't wait to spend another year with them, another year of growing my skills and another year of typical student adventures.
I had a feeling this sixth year would be another good one. I couldn't wait to start it. I couldn't wait to see Sebastian, Anne and Ominis.
